Obama built this
To win the election Obama became small and petty. He has made the US Presidency smaller for his rhetoric and divisive politics. Many of you may not understand this but, I really feel sorry for the people who were targeted by Obama because they are the ones who will suffer most under this administration. From MOTUS
The unions won with their backing of Obama but, the small contractors and shops did not. The city I live in is very diverse, many of our contracting businesses are owned and operated by Black, Hispanic and female business persons. With the new federal mandates these struggling businesses are not allowed to bid on any government (federally subsidized) contracts. The consequences are huge for them. We watch as our local crews lay idle and union crews are brought in from IL and other states to build our infrastructure (streets, bridges, and buildings). But, they’re not finished, unions are now demanding that all residential work be done by unionized contractors. Obama’s EPA has made it so expensive to do any type of work in the trades, the costs are becoming prohibitive to the small and midsize companies. The layers of bureaucracy have become like a maze and the new requirements so onerous they help the bigger unionized businesses. If they voted for Obama, they voted for their demise.
Roads, rail and airports all cry out for investment and improvement. But as long as money is thrown at failing industries – such as in the car industry bail-out that helped Mr Obama win Ohio and Michigan this week – the administration cannot afford to take big strategic decisions such as these.
Just in case the union workers felt Obama would safeguard their jobs, it’s not true.

facilities in California and consolidate several business units to cut costsRival Lockheed Martin has reduced its management ranks by about 25 percent in recent years after announcing a voluntary buyout.
Boeing said it would also expand its efforts to cut supply-chain costs by working closely with its suppliers, but did not provide details.
If Boeing is closing its facilities in CA, then those union jobs go with it. Congratulations to all of you union guys who voted for Obama and are now without a job.
Even the Daily Mail agrees with us on the media hype about Obama and the entitlement society he has been creating with the help of Democrats in Congress. It’s the only way he could win re-election by dividing the nation with “fear and loathing”.
Mitt Romney was right about one thing. He was secretly taped back in May telling fund-raisers that half the country would support Barack Obama because they depend on the government for all or part of their income.
Romney correctly identified America’s burgeoning entitlement culture as a major obstacle to a Republican winning back the White House…….[snip]
Romney wasn’t just taking on the President, he was battling a hostile mainstream media every bit as biased in favour of Obama as the BBC is towards Labour. Of course, the BBC loves Obama, too. And plenty of British commentators suspend their critical faculties when it comes to America’s first black President.
This probably explains why a recent opinion poll showed that 80 per cent of people in Britain wanted Obama to win. They only know what they read and watch on TV, which for the past few years has been a constant fanfare of fawning praise.

But the Democrats are well aware that the pumping of federal money into corporate bail-outs and infrastructure projects in declining regions is the key to creating a state clientele that keeps voting them back into office.
The administration is already devising stealth taxes to help pay for the bribes it wishes to offer the coalition of minorities that comprise its supporters. Some will corrode the core of American self-reliance, such as taxes on any substantial capital gains made from house sales. Others are simply opportunist, such as a tax on tanning salons.
Biden stated the Dems “have a mandate” to raise taxes. Always talking about “mandates” have gotten previous Presidents in trouble. I suggest both Obama and Biden drop that shtick and govern for the good of all of the people, something he has yet to do. Obama created the factions that divide us by calling us the “enemy” and asking for votes based on “revenge”. It’s time for him to stop the pettiness and divisivness that has driven his politics and policies. He needs to end the class and race warfare he created for the good of the country and its people. Barack Obama won a second term but no mandate. Thanks in part to his own small-bore and brutish campaign, victory guarantees the president nothing more than the headache of building consensus in a gridlocked capital on behalf of a polarized public.
If the president begins his second term under any delusion that voters rubber-stamped his agenda on Tuesday night, he is doomed to fail.

The Department of Energy (DOE) is responsible for managing the Y-12 lab’s operations and for keeping it secure. Besides having a sophisticated $500 million security system that includes high-tech cameras and sensors, the compound has a substantial staff of guards and the property is surrounded by huge security towers and special fences.
A few days ago the DOE Inspector General revealed in a report that the guard force at the Tennessee lab is compromised because officers and supervisors share advance copies of test materials. That means the guards aren’t necessarily qualified to do this delicate job of protecting the compound. Even worse is that the advance test copies came from a DOE official, the report says, and that the cheating has been going on for years and isn’t necessarily limited to the Oak Ridge facility.
Circulating copies of key tests in advance to the contractor and employees responsible for ensuring that such a vital site is adequately protected against terrorism was “inexplicable and inexcusable,” the DOE’s inspector general found. “Security of the Nation’s most sensitive nuclear material storage and processing facilities must not be left to chance.””

As more and more people are layed off, as more and more people go on unemployment, then welfare or disability (with fake injuries) or early retirement as I’ve had to do, there will be less and less people to pay for them. They will eventually lose their jobs, either through layoffs or their company going out of business because they can’t keep paying the taxes. They will not be able to find a job for years. I’ll guess at least 4 more years, with many already having 4 yrs of unemployment under their belts already making the total 8 yrs. No one can survive that long. I’ll be honest. I couldn’t and wouldn’t go back to work now. I have no desire to anymore. My self worth has been annihilated due to Obama. I’ve been out of the workforce too long to get a decent job and I guess thankfully I was close enough to retirement age to take it early. Others haven’t been so fortunate.
It’s only going to get worse, and I hope the people see what is happening very soon to them and find a way to get Obama out of office. I’m trying to be upbeat, but I feel we are really doomed. And this is only one of many ways we are doomed.
No, we are not doomed…but, we do have to regroup, find like minded people and deal with the political elite on both sides of the political aisle…..actions have consequences….harsh reality will soon set in. Time to let them fall on their faces.

I can only help one, and by some strange coincidence, the name I oulled out of the hat is the one who works three jobs, dates an independent small business owner, and has a Romney sticker on her fridge.

Today I got a call begging me to help support an organization for the needy. I just said, “Call Obama and ask him for the money, I am now paying for my own medical insurance and my husband’s medical needs have become a huge financial obligation.” The person just hung up on me.
Carole–Good for you! I was considering doing something similar. I regularly buy items for a local food bank, who I’ve always suspected was a least a tad liberal, but still very appreciative and nice. Many of the customers probably supported Obama in the last election, and many are AF/AM. No more donations from me. This is a huge step for me–I strongly believe in being charitable to worthy charities that I’ve done my homework with. In fact, it’s part of my religious beliefs; but, until this country wakes up, no more from me.
The only secular organization I support is the Salvation Army. No Red Cross, or TV type charities or phony “in your street” donations. The S.A. is exactly what they appear to be and provide food, shelter, and hope for the least of us.
There is no one who has fallen so low that the S.A. wouldn’t welcome with love and compassion. I think of them as the ‘Mother Teresa” for all of us.
Salvation Army isn’t secular. It is Christian based. It is a church that does awesome work with the poor and those who need help.

Sure, Merry Christmas valued employees, you no longer have a job………….And who do they blame? probably George W Bush. Of course, losing your job any time of the year is bad, but it seems so much worse before the holidays, just as winter approaches and the days get shorter.

Really surprised at the Pepsi layoffs, but I’m sur not as surprised as the workers. Aren’t they the company that put the 0 logo on their bottles for a limited run. I’ve always thought Pepsi as liberal, Coke as Capitalist.
