Express Yourself…..

Beck has done it again….Liberal heads are exploding over his artwork submission for sale on E-Bay. Beck’s artwork, called “Obama Pee-Pee” started at a $5.00 bid and, went to $11,000.00 plus bid.

Many on the left are reeling after radio and television host Glenn Beck exercised his First Amendment rights in the creation of his own Obama-themed piece of art. As TheBlaze reported on Tuesday, Beck submerged an Obama “bobblehead” doll in faux urine. His reasoning? To highlight the hypocrisy of individuals who would decry his creation, yet defend the desecration of Christian themes (like this image of a crucified Obama).

Obviously, as noted by TheBlaze’s Tiffany Gabbay, Beck’s project is similar to the infamous anti-Christian photograph titled “Piss Christ,” showing a small plastic crucifix soaked in the artist’s real urine.

The offending artwork was removed by E-Bay….according to liberal logic, First Amendment rights belong only to the group in power, the rest of us, not so much. Beck’s portrayal of Obama isn’t much different than the rest of the garbage out there that passes for art.

This comes to mind…Of course, the artist (?) has the freedom to express himself as he likes, whether I think it’s garbage or not. The left only recognizes their own freedom of expression, not yours or mine. The tyranny of the majority in power.

On Monday, TheBlaze alerted readers to a new painting that depicts Barack Obama as Jesus Christ crucified, adorned with a crown of thorns. The work, entitled “Truth,” is part of a larger exhibit at the Bunker Hill Community College Art Gallery in Boston titled “Artists on the Stump – the Road to the White House 2012.” This, of course, is not the first controversial rendition that has been labeled “artwork,” nor is it the first time President Obama has been likened to Christ, or in general, God.

Now, the creator of “Truth,” Michael D’Antuono, said that his “First Amendment rights should override someone’s hurt feelings” and that “we should celebrate the fact that we live in a country where we are given the freedom to express ourselves.”

MO just might have figured out she’s 50 and not a 20-something. Christmas Party at the White House and, an unveiling of the decorations, a party for children of Veterans to decorate goodies.  MO wore a gold silk suit by Michael Kors and, her knees were covered!

I think she may be over her midlife crisis. But, I do hope the House will rein in the exorbitant spending she thrives on at the taxpayers expense. $1.4 billion is just too much for us to pay to keep the Obama’s entertained.

We still won’t hear the end of the whole “fashion icon” meme. ‘George’ has come out with a knock off of MO’s election night dress. “The Michelle” is available just in time for the holidays.

“Our Michelle Obama inspired flower jacquard dress was an instant hit amongst shoppers,” George brand director Fiona Lambert told The Daily Mail.
The party dress’s popularity was no accident: It was designed and named after George and Asda shoppers chose Michelle Obama as the most-impressive female dresser, ranking her ahead of Gwyneth Paltrow and Victoria Beckham. The entire fashion-icon inspired line—the big box retailer’s new Moda “Impress Dresses” collection—launched on November 21, and sales have been brisk.

“‘The Impress Dress collection has been flying off the shelves this week,” Lambert said. “We’re urging women to get their hands on their favorite before we sell through completely.”

Thanks to Waiting for 2012 for this wonderful and inspiring find….you too can own MObama money!

  1. I have got to get back in the grove here. Lynn, your posts are wonderful and I miss the gang, while I do run into some of them on WHD, it’s the birdie spirit I miss most of all. :D

Ugh, a 20-day, 4 million dollar Hawaiian Christmas Paycation is in the works for the Bronco Bama family. Eat cake crumbs birdies !!!

I’m still in that “how did we lose” fog. I really miss the Romneys and their family. Nor can I wrap my head around Alan West and Mia Love’s losses. Yet we got Alan (Republicans want you to die) Grayson back ?

Beck is the resistance ! eBay is stupid, it wasn’t real urine, though if he were selling photographs of PeePee Obama, it would have been okay. Drawing attention to the left’s hypocrisy? Priceless :D

    • srdem65

Why oh why do we get most of our news from a foreign newspaper? I was amazed at her suit until I saw the back. The suit is too small, the skirt would be imposssible to sit while wearing it.
How do you buy designer wear and it doesn’t fit?

      • Just a squidge too tight in the rear…. is squidge a word? if it isn’t, it should be…
From the pics she certainly didn’t sit much… a lot of bending over and, of course, big wide open mouth snacking. LOL :D

      • Carole

I was thinking the suit just is too small. Is that a microphone or something on her back? Same old Chicago southside speech pattern. Not First Lady or Harvard graduate quality speaking manner. Moo'[s voice and speech pattern quality is so annoying that I never listen to her on TV,videos or radio.

    • The Original

Suit is too tight . . . and nothing says Christmas like nothing with Christ being represented. It is “Christ”mas. Sorry . . . that is just a touchy thing for me.

It’s that just a wonderful piece of information. Good grief!

  3. I am more then happy to be as offensive as I please to any Prog out there.
The sole purpose of the First Amendment is to protect the minority from the tyranny of the majority.

    • srdem65

      ? do tell…………..

      • lol :D

    • The Original

On that note . . . Merry Christmas! Our store hopefully offends people who don’t like “Merry Christmas” because every customer will get that greeting.

      • YAY!! :D

This is not news to Arizonans. The city of Yuma, sitting on our national border with Mexico is a magnet for the poorest of the poor Mexicans. They have no interest in learning English and can barely read Spanish. It is a welfare town.

    http://cnsnews.com/news/article/calif-ariz-border-towns-have-nation-s-highest-unemployment-over-28

    • Not to sound crass but, what we don’t need at this point in time is more tired, poor and hungry illegals with little education or skills.

    • The Original

It is also a magnet for senior citizens because the cost of living there is so low. My parents used to have a home there.

  5. Here we go….a 4 million dollar paycayshun…..

“Residents living near the beachfront homes where President Barack Obama and First Family vacation with their friends every year since 2008 were alerted on Monday to some specifics of the Obamas’ holiday vacation plans.

The report delivered to residents living along the ocean and canal that surrounds the multi-million dollar homes at Kailuana Place where the President stays, informed them of restrictions that will be implemented for 20 days beginning December 17 and running through January 6.”

    http://www.hawaiireporter.com/residents-alerted-to-obamas-hawaiian-holiday-plans/123

    • srdem65

Reading between the lines, it seems that they’re not so happy with their Christmas being ruined with restrictions because the O’s are visiting.
I laughed at the spokesman saying the costs are like other Pres’s vacations. Phooey!
If I recall, all former Presidents either went to CampDavid or to their personal homes for the holidays.

      • Nothing like taking advantage of a position to flaunt. Other Presidents also had wealthy friends that loaned them houses for vacations.

      • “other” Presidents and their families didn’t spend 1.4 billion either on their entertainment. Nothing humble about those two.

      • The Original

Pres. Bush 43 and family always spent Christmas at Camp David so his aides and SS could be close to their homes.

BO doesn’t seem to care about them much, does he?

    • The Original

He sure did a great job, didn’t he? Ticked all of the GOP meeting with him.

  6. Oops! Sorry Kids… Obama Forgot to Tell College Students He Cut Pell Grants Before Election.

    http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2012/11/oops-sorry-kids-obama-forgot-to-tell-youth-voters-he-cut-pell-grants-before-election/

    • A rude awakening …….the real world awaits all you who “believed” in the Liar-in-chief.

“This cut in eligibility was never mentioned by President Obama during the campaign, and when he boasted about increasing funding to the Pell Grant program, CNN fact-checked his claim as true. While the amount of government funding to the program is going up in future years, CNN failed miserably by not pointing out the cuts in eligibility to students. The cuts could be a rude awakening to students who thought President Obama was expanding their educational opportunities.”

      http://www.examiner.com/article/college-students-learn-of-obama-s-secret-pell-grant-cuts

  7. conner43

I’m with Denise here… How did this happen ? Then I give my forehead a good slap, and borrowing from James Carville, realize “”It’s the Culture Stupid”.
Political junkies have long moaned over voting blocs that always vote against their best interests. But what about otherwise sensible folk who simply stayed home because Romney wasn’t their cup of tea ? Or voted for nutjobs like Jill Stein because they thought it ‘proved’ a point ?
The entitlement culture was fully harvested for votes, the working stiffs were not.

Since we vote in So.Fl., I saw up close and personal how the O machine ‘got out the vote’. It was chaos, with hundreds of former non voters waiting in line, while talking on their Obamaphones.
I’m sorry for how this sounds but my daughter lives on Palm Beach, and even her polling place had the same people show up with voter registration cards in hand . This really strains credulity.
Alan West was robbed, period, how can a candidate win the two most populous counties, Broward and Palm Beach, lose the least populous St Lucie county, and lose the election?

So between Romney not facing reality and ignoring Marco Rubio for VP, and the disgusting fraud and crimes committed by the O people, Fl. went down the rabbit hole.
I never thought I’d live to see the day when our elections were no better than those in a third world country, but without a free press, this is what we have come to.

It always begs the question; what would you do if you knew you would never be called out? A perfect example of this is Benghazigate.
We now have our very own Pharoah and his thug Princess for four more long years.
I would love to hold out hope for 2014, but I fear it will be a repeat of ’12.
O needs to keep the Senate, so he can keep wrecking the country.

    • Yep, people in this country have a serious case of the “gimmees”…

    • francinepink

Everytime I hear Obama called a Pharoah I remember this from 2008:

      http://worldwar3news.webs.com/ww3conspiracytheories.htm

You can do a search on google and find more sites. I do believe he and Michelle bear a striking resemblance.

  8. will be out for a while today…have volunteered for Court Watch.

  9. Susan Rice….more of an insider than anyone thinks…crafts UN strategy…read it all…

“Under pressure from Republican senators for answers to why Rice delivered false information to the American public, President Obama pushed back during a November 18 press conference, arguing that she had “nothing to do with Benghazi.”

That claim was startling given Rice’s role as the top Obama surrogate tasked with explaining the attack’s origins. And Rice’s book interview revealed that she works closely with both the White House and State Department to craft strategies when national interests are at stake.

    http://dailycaller.com/2012/11/30/in-interview-susan-rice-explains-role-in-wh-decision-making-people-know-not-to-mess-with-me/#ixzz2DjPAW5uk

  10. “This week, CBS News became the first news organization besides Fox to ask President Obama ‘Who changed the Benghazi talking points?’” Leno teased.

“See, this is very dangerous to the White House if journalists should suddenly start asking real questions.”

    http://newsbusters.org/blogs/noel-sheppard/2012/11/30/leno-very-dangerous-white-house-if-journalists-should-suddenly-start#ixzz2DjSdddD9

  11. What a total jerk….afraid his paycayshun will be late in starting?

“”Joe Biden was in Costco and he wanted to buy some of this stuff, but I told him he had too much work to do. I wasn’t going to have him building roller coasters all day long. Now, of course, Santa delivers everywhere. I’ve been keeping my own naughty and nice list for Washington, so you should keep your eye on who gets some K’NEX this year. There are going to be some members of Congress who get them, and some who don’t,” President Obama said Friday at a rally where he pushed Congress to avoid the fiscal cliff.”

    http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2012/11/30/obama_warns_congress_ive_been_keeping_my_own_naughty_and_nice_list_for_washington.html

    • srdem65

I agree, he talks like a jerk who doesn’t realize what he’s saying and what it means. I’ve been aware of our Presidents since Truman was in office and some of them were not to my liking, but I never thought of them as a threat to the US or as a “jerk”. I didn’t care for R.Nixon, but I never believed he had anything but good intentions for our country and gave him credit for having the courage to pull out of VietNam and to make peace with China.

We never paid much attention to FirstLadies because they weren’t in the news every day and they weren’t trying to change anything. MrsKennedy decorated the WhiteHouse, Mrs Nixon didn’t do much, MrsJohnson prettified our roadways, and so on.

Oh, this is going to be a long, long, four years.

      • Yes, it really is……with these two, it will seem like an eternity. I have never seen anything like those two in Big White either. It doesn’t humble them to know so many people have to put their faith in them. If anything BO has become more arrogant and nasty.

  12. Waiting for 2012

Srdem65, I’ve been through a few presidents myself, and have NEVER, even with the ones I disliked, thought they were a great danger to our country. Even Clinton, whom I disliked, possesses at least a shred of patriotism. Bamster doesn’t. I knew that from the beginning.
And I’ve never seen a Worst Lady like you-know-who–and I think she’s a danger to the country, and obviously detests it. (“Worst Lady” is my nickname for her. I’m not using it to reference the the wonderful ladies who occupied a certain job prior to MOO, just so you all know!)

  13. conner43

The hard working taxpayers are outnumbered by the Elites and the ‘gimmedats” , so we are being ruled by the choices of the politically illiterate who pay for nothing, and the Hollywood types with more money than brains. The takers now outnumber the makers. If this isn’t tyranny then I need a new dictionary.
As I think back on our various Presidents, likable or not, it is notable that they all had something in common with the rest of us. We all shared a familiar thread of honoring the Constitution and having at least a working knowledge of our history. I doubt that O could even name the signers of the Declaration of Independence or the death toll of the Civil War. For someone with his education credentials, he is shockingly ignorant. No wonder he doesn’t like us He will never get that most of us grew up eating meat loaf and loving Norman Rockwell, corny as that sounds, he will never understand that common bond we share.
Because my maternal grandfather’s family has been here forever, I can name a soldier/ancestor in every war since the War of 1812….So can millions of other Americans, is it any wonder many of us are enraged at what has become of our country?
Is this what our ancestors and now our nephews and cousins fought and are still dying for?
This is not hatred , which is destructive, more like incalculable outrage.

    • Waiting for 2012

I agree! The men in my family have served in the U.S military back to the Revolutionary War, including:

      My Dad: WWII
      His brother, ditto
      My brother, Vietnam
My husband: Marine Corps, Persian Gulf War. The 2nd MarDiv were the first ones into the breach in the ground campaign (nice way of saying, “Those poor guys were responsible for finding Iraqi landmines, blowing them up, without blowing themselves up, and clearing the way of Iraqi troops in order for the tanks to get through” :-)). He told me something so sweet today, in fact: I wondered why his Uncle’s son was named after him. Hubby was getting ready to go off to war; the expected casualty rate was 60-70% for his unit. As hubby had no wife then, and no kids on the way, his Uncle & Aunt touchingly named their newborn son after him, just in case he didn’t come back.

Hubby’s Dad served in the Navy; his brother, the Army. The brother of the child mentioned above is now in the Navy.

I know many veterans, and I can tell you: they are DISGUSTED with what has happened with Obama.

  14. Carole

I just cannot watch Obutt speak. I am more than disgusted. The Obutts are a definite danger to our freedom as Americans. It is more than a sin that the Obutts are going to spend a fortune on a Christmas vacay as the people from Sandy are without homes, electricity, food and other needed things, My heart goes out to those people and I have absolutely no respect for Barry and Moo. My hubby and his veteran air force buddies are irate that Obutt was either elected by fraudulent voting or grabby idiotic Americans.

  15. Waiting for 2012

Ok, maybe OUTRAGED is a better term? :-) Of course the ‘Bamas don’t care. They got their votes, and 4 more years to accomplish their destruction of our country. And meglomaniacs like them think everyone loves them/agrees with them.

Blacks also need to wake up and smell the manure. Bamster has done nothing but make the economy worse for them as a group. But then again, if you can be bribed to vote by free phones and food stamps, do they really care if the jobless rate is high? When you get a monthly visit from Santa Claus, bearing gifts (of freebies, like food stamps) why should you care? All of that free time gives you plenty of time to sit back, relax, and chat on your free phone. Hubby works with a Black gentleman, who, though full-time, somehow technically is eligible for food stamps, and takes them. DH asked him why he was going to vote for Bamster: “Gotta keep the Black man in the White House.” How the heck do you reason with someone like THAT?

    • conner43

I spent the latter half of my working life with educated, well paid, smart African Americans, they had no more in common with gangbangers and welfare mommies than those of us here do. They had the same concerns about taxes, their grandchildren etc as any other working person. Yet in the end, they stood nearly 100% with people they would not have been caught dead with, in their real lives.
Race trumps everything, in some quarters.

  16. conner43
    • that is so going to the blog roll….. :D
      Thanks so much!!

    • srdem65

Clever and so believeable. I didn’t catch on until the “secret service lottery”.
If there was such a thing, thousands of Obats would have been thrilled to send money for that. LOL.

  17. srdem65

I hope you all had a pleasant Sunday.
After discussions with the mothers of my grandchildren on an appropriate Christmas gift for each child, I learned that I’ve reached the limit of my understanding of electronic stuff. We all agreed that my gift-giving will consist of the time-honored sweaters, socks, and slippers. OK, by me, because I’d be totally lost in the toy department and electronics stores.

  18. conner43

Srdem, I agree. We returned to the time honored pajamas and nightgowns for the bigger kids, and simple toys and games even we understand for the littler kids.
My grandmother used too give us handmade nightgowns, accented with beautiful hand smocking…I sure wish I had saved them, .
