Making your life “a little better”
“I told you in 2008 that I wasn’t a perfect man and I wouldn’t be a perfect president … but that I would wake up every single day fighting as hard as I can to make your lives a little bit better, because I saw myself in you,” he said. “And Oakland, I have kept that promise every day … I have been thinking about you and fighting as hard as I know how.”
That’s what he told the crowd. How does 185 fundraisers, 100+ rounds of golf, 17 paycayshuns and, myriad parties in the White House make life better for anyone but BO and MO? Are you better off now then you were four years ago?
Senator Feinstein, Chairwoman of the National Intelligence committee, has finally decided to be on the right side, that of the American people.
‘‘I think the White House has to understand that some of this is coming from their ranks,’’ Feinstein said at a World Affairs Council forum, according to the Associated Press (AP).
Pat Caddell has come right out and named Tom Donilon as the leaker.
Caddell explains that he is certain Donilon is the source of the leaks because of his background as a political operative and a known “leaker”. (video at the link)
Of course, BO has stated this is a highly “offensive” accusation to him personally. I doubt that very much. The leaks entail cyber security attacks on Iran and his own personal “kill list” in an attempt to make BO look macho and tough on terror. The DOJ will be investigating but, they needn’t bother. We all know where that investigation will lead, nowhere.
Mitt Romney spoke in NV today and tore into BO’s foreign policy.
[…]the presumptive Republican nominee drew cheers and applause when he said that Obama’s policies had ‘made it harder to recover from the deepest recession in seventy years’ and ‘exposed the military to cuts that no one can justify’.
He added that Obama had ‘compromised our national-security secrets’ and ‘and in dealings with other nations, given trust where it is not earned, insult where it is not deserved, and apology where it is not due’…..
‘After secret operational details of the bin Laden raid were given to reporters, Secretary Gates walked into the West Wing and told the Obama team to “shut up”. He added a colorful word for emphasis.’
Demanding an independent inquiry, rather than the one being conducted by Obama appointees, Romney said: ‘This conduct is contemptible. It betrays our national interest. It compromises our men and women in the field.’
Thomas Sowell thinks James Holmes, Tea Party member, should sue ABC News for “every dime they have”. Rather then reporting the news, media creates propaganda. They just make stuff up to fit a narrative that is dishonest and biased.
Ending this post with a feel good for everyone. Elton John at the International AIDS Conference had this to say;
“We’ve seen George W. Bush and conservative American politicians pledge tens of billions to save the lives of Africans with HIV. Think of all the love. Think of where we’d be without it, nowhere, that’s where. We’d be nowhere at all,”
Now, didn’t that make you proud to be an American? I know it will drive the left nuts that John told the truth but, it is a fact that more conservative Americans are more compassionate, more charitable and volunteer more than liberals or progressives.
