‘Bless his heart’
When speaking of the economy and BO’s understanding of how economics actually works, Mitt Romney used those words. My grandmother used to use that phrase when one of the younger ones would attempt to “help” in some way and really goofed it up. Romney using that phrase gave me a chuckle. Obama may be “symbolic” but, bless his heart, he is just not Presidential material. So, expect that phrase to pop up now and then as BO continues down the path of socialization and big government.
TOTUS has finally rebelled. Yes, tired of being an unsung hero in the White House, TOTUS finally had enough. He figured he would do what BO has been doing, waving and blocking out faces in photos with other world leaders. Everyone deserves credit for a job well done and TOTUS has worked harder then most in Big White.
Did you know that $500,000 of stimulus funds went for advertising on MSNBC? Particularly the Olberman and Maddow shows? Bless their little hearts, nice little bailout, if you can get it.
According to government records, the Labor Department paid the money in late 2009 to a company that negotiated a media buy on MSNBC’s “Countdown with Keith Olbermann” and “The Rachel Maddow Show.” The ad was set to run more than 100 times — 14 times a week for two months.
It’s unclear how many people might have gotten involved in the green job training program because of the ads. But in terms of direct economic impact, the official online entry on the contract listed zero jobs created as a result of the payment.
When it comes to Voter ID laws, the ACLU is running around, along with the DOJ, suing states, calling the laws racist and acting as if people’s rights will be violated. Bless their little hearts.
On August 15, a Pennsylvania judge upheld the Commonwealth’s new law requiring one of a plethora of forms of identification — including a driver’s license, accredited school ID, government employee badge and a new voter-specific ID, among others — be used at a polling place to certify a voter is who they say they are.
The next day, the lead plaintiff in the lawsuit got the ID she needed to vote despite the alleged hurdles her ACLU lawyers said stood in her way.
Is the worm turning? Distrust of the LSM has become so ingrained it’s hard to believe they might develop a conscience and stop getting into bed with corruptocrats in the government. Instead of supporting and, driving the self serving narrative of the pols, the media should feel obligated to dig out and investigate. Bless their little hearts, most of them have forgotten why they attended schools of journalism. Note to the media; it’s still the economy, stupid!
The media is supposed to be objective, competitive, and independent. Instead, though, it’s the complete opposite — an organism ruled by conformity, political correctness, and corrupt Narrative leaders like Politico, The Washington Post, The New York Times and whoever finds the latest nonsense-distraction to play whack-a-GOP with — to keep our eye off the economy. And the finding of this nonsense-distraction is considered The Prize. If you want your stock to climb, if you want a seat closer to the king, tripping up the Republican party is your quickest route (and Ben Smith’s reason for living).
Some in the media seem to be finding their way to a more objective form of journalism. Hopefully this is a trend that will catch on and become the norm. http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Journalism/2012/08/22/Jake-Tapper-Im-Spartacus-Inspire-Others
