‘Bless his heart’

When speaking of the economy and BO’s understanding of how economics actually works, Mitt Romney used those words. My grandmother used to use that phrase when one of the younger ones would attempt to “help” in some way and really goofed it up. Romney using that phrase gave me a chuckle. Obama may be “symbolic” but, bless his heart, he is just not Presidential material. So, expect that phrase to pop up now and then as BO continues down the path of socialization and big government.

TOTUS has finally rebelled. Yes, tired of being an unsung hero in the White House, TOTUS finally had enough. He figured he would do what BO has been doing, waving and blocking out faces in photos with other world leaders. Everyone deserves credit for a job well done and TOTUS has worked harder then most in Big White.

Did you know that $500,000 of stimulus funds went for advertising on MSNBC? Particularly the Olberman and Maddow shows? Bless their little hearts, nice little bailout, if you can get it.

According to government records, the Labor Department paid the money in late  2009 to a company that negotiated a media buy on MSNBC’s “Countdown with Keith  Olbermann” and “The Rachel Maddow Show.” The ad was set to run more than 100  times — 14 times a week for two months.

It’s unclear how many people might have gotten involved in the green job  training program because of the ads. But in terms of direct economic impact, the  official online entry on the contract listed zero jobs created as a result of  the payment.

When it comes to Voter ID laws, the ACLU is running around, along with the DOJ, suing states, calling the laws racist and acting as if people’s rights will be violated. Bless their little hearts.

On August 15, a Pennsylvania judge upheld the Commonwealth’s new law requiring  one of a  plethora of forms of identification — including a driver’s license,  accredited school ID, government employee badge and a new voter-specific ID,  among others — be used at a polling place to certify a voter is who they say  they are.

The next day, the lead plaintiff in the lawsuit got the ID she needed to vote despite the  alleged hurdles her ACLU lawyers said stood in her way.

Is the worm turning? Distrust of the LSM has become so ingrained it’s hard to believe they might develop a conscience and  stop getting into bed with corruptocrats in the government.  Instead of supporting and, driving the self serving narrative of the pols, the media should feel obligated to dig out and investigate. Bless their little hearts, most of them have forgotten why they attended schools of journalism.  Note to the media; it’s still the economy, stupid!

The media is supposed to be objective, competitive, and independent. Instead, though, it’s the complete opposite — an organism ruled by conformity, political correctness, and corrupt Narrative leaders like Politico, The Washington Post, The New York Times and whoever finds the latest nonsense-distraction to  play whack-a-GOP with — to keep our eye off the economy. And the finding of this nonsense-distraction is  considered The Prize. If you want your stock to climb, if you want a seat closer to the king, tripping up the Republican party is your quickest route (and Ben Smith’s reason for living).

Some in the media seem to be finding their way to a more objective form of journalism. Hopefully this is a trend that will catch on and become the norm.

  1. I’ll be out for most of the day…catch up with everyone later
In the meantime have some fun and snark away!! 😀

    • srdem65

Bless her heart, she’s really trying. Rumor has it that she will be visiting all 57 states before the election on Nov2.

      • LOL 😀

      • A.Men

First Hippo is hilarious. She told her obamabots to vote on Nov. 2nd! I know her Ivy League schools is so proud of their graduates — barry obummer and Moochelle.

  2. “Obama: ‘Very Rare I Come to an Event Where I’m Like the Fifth or Sixth Most Interesting Person'”

    • And he said that to people who have actually accomplished something in their lives.

    • srdem65

He’s said a lot of things that made me pause, but this is so egotistical that it explains why the WhiteHouse has him out on the campaign trail. He NEEDS the adoration, the attention.
It also explains why he won’t meet with a hostile (his opinion) press.

      • ‘Bless his heart’…..LOL 😀

    • More often then not BO is the least interesting person at any event.

    • srdem65

Reminds me of her trip to Maine (ME) when she read from the TOTUS “hooray for me” instead of “hooray for Maine”. LOL. She doesn’t think, just reads what’s written.

    • ‘Bless her heart’, MO is trying….and I mean that on so many different levels 😀

    • Compassionate Dems are everywhere…..

    • If the UN had its way we would all be under their thumb. Remember the “Small Arms Treaty” and the “Law of the Sea Treaty”. Would have given the UN considerable power over us and tossed parts of the Constitution. Lately there have been rumblings about a World Bank operated by the UN. I don’t trust them as far as I could pick up that building and toss it.

  3. “I’d advise that you talk to General McRaven, who’s in charge of our Special Ops. I think he has a point of view in terms of how deeply

I care about what these folks do each and every day to protect our freedom.’

The difficulty with this is that William McRaven is and admiral not a general. As a SEAL, he is member of the US Navy, not US Army or US Marines.”

YEP, BO still gaffetastic when it comes to the military. ‘Bless his heart’….. 😀

  4. There is one good thing about Isaac descending on SW FL during the convention. It will keep the Black Panthers, SEIU, Acorn, etc. away! The GOP will be nice and dry in the convention center and the thugs won’t be able to do the devil’s work outside. Hallelujah!

  5. A big welcome to the little nest, where eaglettes dwell, to all our Canadian viewers. 🙂

  6. Niall Ferguson responds to his critics…..bless their little hearts… LOL 😀
“The other day, a British friend asked me if there was anything about the United States I disliked. I was happily on vacation and couldn’t think of anything. But now I remember. I really can’t stand America’s liberal bloggers.”

“I go on to detail his well-documented difficulties in managing his team of economic advisers and his disastrous decision to leave it to his own party in Congress to define the terms of his stimulus, financial reform, and health-care reform. I also argue that he has consistently failed to address the crucial issue of long-term fiscal balance, with the result that the nation is now hurtling toward a fiscal cliff of tax hikes and drastic spending cuts.”

    • and this…
“The second part of my argument is that these failures of domestic leadership have fed into a failure of foreign policy. As commander in chief, President Obama has earned a relatively strong public reputation mainly thanks to a campaign of assassination that liberal bloggers would have excoriated if it had been conducted by his predecessor. His withdrawal of U.S. forces from Iraq and Afghanistan will, in my view, prove to have been premature. More importantly, he has been indecisive in his responses to the revolutionary wave that has swept the Middle East since the Iranian “green” revolution of 2009. And, finally, he has been inconsistent and ineffective in his handling of the major strategic challenge of our times, the rise of China.”

  7. Oh please!! Bless his heart…we know he’s lying

    • srdem65

Back in the day, I was more a Dem than I am today. Even then, MrClinton was an embarrassment and not very well regarded as a leader. True, he worked with Congress and changed Welfare to the good, but his personal acts were disgusting. He lied. He was up for impeachment. How they figure that he will help Obama now is beyond my understanding.

If that’s all the O got, he’s got nothing.

  8. Carole

Billy is one heck of a good liar. He excells better than anyone, except Barry snd Moo, when it comes to sugar coating the truth. “I did not have sex with that woman.”

  9. Despicable BO backer suggests “whispering campaign” against Mormon religion….Yep, they finally went there…..creepy little freak
“On Monday, a “team member” named Laurence De Palma, who lists his location as East Nashville, presented volunteers with some talking points to convince Southern Christian voters they shouldn’t vote for a Mormon. The message was available under “Resources” and tagged “persuasion.”

“I’m thinking that even though we don’t LIKE campaigns to get nasty, we in the south (TN) come to EXPECT it,” De Palma began. “What we also know is that we have a very ‘rigid’ view of Christianity, and apparently, Mormonism isn’t anywhere in our views. This could easily win TN/SC/AL/GA, etc.”

The post goes on to include brief, oversimplified summaries of Mormon doctrines, framed to clash with evangelical Christianity.”

    • srdem65

Oh, how I detest things like this. Really, do Americans care what religion a person believes in and would shun them for it? I’m of the opinion that any religion that makes us a better person, that gives us guidence, and respect for the Almighty is perfectly fine.

Of course, being that I live in a community with many Mormon believers and a stone’s throw fromt their house of worship, I know who they are; they are religious, family oriented, communtiy servers and honest-trustworthy as the day is long.

  10. Debbie Dumb as Dirt….Bless her little heart… LOL 😀

    • srdem65

Is she supposed to be Goldilocks? I can’t stand to listen to her robot drone and watch her stone face. Why did the pick her to be the voice of the Dems? Is that the best they could find?

      • Cooper embarrassed her and it shows… LOL 😀
        She’s a gift to the R-words.

  11. MO sends emails… DH, who voted Republican, is inundated with them every day…pathetic

Before you go to bed tonight, do me a favor and read Barack’s note.

We’ve always known this election was going to be even tougher than the last one. All across the country, supporters like you have stepped up to give your time and energy to help move this country forward. We can’t let that hard work be undone by our opponents’ unlimited spending on negative TV ads.

If we win, it will because of what you do today, and for the next 77 days. Please donate $5 or more now:

Thanks for everything you do for Barack and this campaign.

P.S. — Make a donation of $5 or whatever you can before midnight tonight and you and a guest will be automatically entered to meet Barack and me at the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte. We’ll cover your flight and hotel expenses, and, for today only, each entry counts as two chances to win.

  12. Why Romney is the best candidate for President…..experience in economic matters…lots of it. He writes about it in the WSJ
“Mitt Romney: What I Learned at Bain Capital”

  13. LOL funny 😀
[…]Cesar Ruiz, the founder of new political action group Haphak America, said his organization’s “mission” is to “expose that the sole national purpose of the Republican Party is not to act in the interests of American citizens, or even of its party members, but to defeat a sitting, duly elected president.”[…]

Yes, we DO want him defeated….by a wide margin if possible….Isn’t that the reason we have campaigns? To get rid of the incompetent?
Rush Limbaugh is right…DNC is going for the “moron” vote.

  14. Weasel ZIppers on fire today

    “Obama Has Fake Twitter Followers”

  15. “Bloomberg. Solution To Unemployment Is To Allow More Immigrants To Come To U.S.”

    • srdem65

How someone so stupid got so rich is beyond me. Why of course, you dimwit, allowing more uneducated, untrained illegal aliens into our communities would raise the unemployment rate of ……..the police….the welfare employees…the ER people……….the free housing people….the ones who pass out food stamps….interpreters for our schools and court system. Why, you dunderhead, I think they should all go to NYC and stand on the corners of the downtown centers.

It’s time for people topay attention to whom we elect to office. It’s our own darn fault that we have such stupid, dimwitted, egotistica, idiots running our country.

    • Bloomberg doesn’t have to worry much…BO and his thugs have been falsifying deportation records for a few years now.
“The Republican chairman of the House Judiciary Committee is charging that the Obama administration has “falsified” deportation records to artificially boost numbers — a move critics of the Homeland Security Department have long suspected.”

      • Not surprising. His supporters claim he has deported more illegals than Bush, but his policies speak to the exact opposite.

  16. Missing Laura Bush

Mitt Romney mentions the birth certificate to a crowd who cheers:

    • srdem65

On the birther thing; most people keep quiet about it, nothing much in the news. But we all know there’s something fishy about his birthplace and the records. We now know that he claimed to be born in Kenya from his publishers.

No one says much out loud, but how many people believe that he is a Christian and not a Muslim. Just like we don’t think he knows or acts like an ‘American’, we know he doesn’t present himself as a Christian. I’m not questioning his faith in the Almighty or even saying it’s wrong to be a Muslim, I’m saying it’s wrong to pretend to be something you’re not.

    • Mexican police or military…I would bet on it!

  17. “Romney: Tithing makes me reluctant to reveal taxes”

  18. Rangel sides with Romney… you thought that wouldnever happen…
““The Vice President said he’s going to put “y’all in chains,” Mr. Rangel told The Perez Notes in a recent free-wheeling interview. “Was he talking about slavery? You bet your ass he was. Was he using the vernacular? Yes, he was. Did he think it was cute? Yes, he did. Was it something stupid to say? You bet your life it was stupid.””

  19. He shows energy only when he campaigns — and it is a negative energy, driven more by rage (we hear of his contempt for Mitt Romney) than, let’s say, hope. He likes to shoot hoops with NBA stars, hang out with celebrities, play golf, take vacations, give speeches before adoring crowds, and collect cash from campaign contributors, but he does not like the humdrum responsibilities that come from being president.

When things do not work out when his policies roll out, he blames others — whether inanimate or animate (ATMs, tsunamis, Europe, Republicans, “lazy” and soft” Americans — he blames us).

If he were an employee, Obama would have been fired long ago.

We have a chance to make that come true in November.

    Works for me!!

  20. sportinlife10

The o never could’ve said “Bless his heart” about anyone, because he doesn’t know or understand Americans or Americanese. The guy is a mutt. I’m not sure he was born anywhere, just hatched.

    • srdem65

Well said. They’re probably still scratching their heads trying to figure out why saying “you didn’t build that” upset so many people. Americans don’t want our coal mines shut down, we don’t want to buy foreign oil when we’re swimming in oil right here. When the O’s declared that 9/11 was a ‘day of service’, Americans just tuned them out…’s a day of remembrance of those who died and to honor those who gave their lives trying to save those in the TwinTowers.
In many ways, large and small, they seem so ….un-american. In fact, the Dems take offense at “un-american” because they don’t get what it means.

      • DLeigh

He doesn’t get it because in his growth years he was not raised as an American. It is not in his soul…(and they elected him anyway.) I don’t know what M O’s excuse is. She is just wicked, a product of using her race as a excuse to whine.
