The Perfect Storm and fuzzy math…

No, not the storm bearing down on the East Coast but, the one we will face after the election. The left is not going to be able to accept their loss mostly because the Obama campaign is lying to them about the voting numbers. Spinning, using unverifiable data, and cherry picking data to make it look like BO is leading in the polls. So, here is the real breakdown of the actual numbers to date from OH.  Read it all:

220,000 fewer Democrats have voted early in Ohio compared with 2008. And 30,000
more Republicans have cast their ballots compared with four years ago. That is a
250,000-vote net increase for a state Obama won by 260,000 votes in 2008.

Has anyone else noticed how prepared everyone is getting for the Frankenstorm? No one knows what will really happen, but everyone is making contingency plans, evacuations underway to get people out of harms way, extra First Responders being put on duty, extra employees of power companies on 24 hour call, back up generators in hospitals being checked for preparedness. Isn’t it strange how no one was prepared or had a contingency plan for September 11th at our Embassies in the Islamic States? Don’t you think added security should have been deployed to safeguard our people? Val-Jay gets 5 or 6  Secret Service guards, Ambassador Stevens gets none.

That’s the pathetic foreign policy of the Obama administration, says Caddell today in an exclusive interview with Breitbart News. “Jarrett seems to have a 24 hour, around the clock detail, with five or six agents full time,” Caddell explains. “The media has been completely uninterested. We don’t provide security for our ambassador in Libya, but she needs a full Secret Service security detail. And nobody thinks there’s anything wrong with this. And nobody in the press will ask. What kind of slavish stoogery are they perpetrating here?

“This country has reached the point of absurdity. There are people dead because we don’t have security details for them. But she’s privileged to have a full Secret Service detail on vacation?”

When there are nothing but self serving elitists running the White House filled with their own self importance and, think nothing of the people who serve, or the country they are supposed to protect, that is exactly what one should expect. After all, who is more important to Obama? I think we all know the answer. As for the “slavish stoogery” of the media, they have lost the trust of the majority of the public.

The Des Moines Register gets it right: endorses Romney

Barack Obama rocketed to the presidency from relative obscurity with a theme of hope and change. A different reality has marked his presidency. His record on the economy the past four years does not suggest he would lead in the direction the nation must go in the next four years.

Voters should give Mitt Romney a chance to correct the nation’s fiscal course and to implode the partisan gridlock that has shackled Washington and the rest of America — with the understanding that he would face the same assessment in four years if he does not succeed.

Time for the US to grow up, stop worrying about how many freebies the government can give you, and do what is necessary for our country and the future of all our children. We cannot afford four more years of Obama. This is not about Dems and Repubs, nor is it about skin color, this is about the future of our children, all of them. It’s about the opportunities we are not giving to our graduates, the lack of government motivation to deal with real issues that are staring us in the face. Everything stops at the desk of the POTUS, everything. It’s time we have one that realizes that and is willing to accept responsibility for his decisions. Romney is the better candidate. That’s all there is to it.

Let the Dim-o-cats call me a racist. I voted for Romney and if that is being a racist, well so may it be. I refuse to vote for a treasonist president and that is that!! Great articles Lynn II that you are providing for the birdies.

      • I don’t know which is worse, being called something I’m not, or the automatic assumption that liberals have that everyone is liberal. I don’t bring up politics in places that are meant for fun and family, like a restaurant.
I was out with two friends who had asked if I had seen SNL recently, and the shows take on the debates. No. I don’t watch the show.
They went on that I’d really really love the actor the got to play Romney, and they went on about how horrible SNL made Romney look.
They automatically assumed that I would be just positively gleeful that a left leaning show would depict Romney as a demon. They had no clue, didn’t even ask what my views were. I’d suggested that perhaps I don’t need to love a candidates face to agree with his polices.
Most of the liberals I meet are socially clueless, shelled in people. It’s as if they can’t imagine a world beyond their little window.

        • “Most of the liberals I meet are socially clueless, shelled in people. It’s as if they can’t imagine a world beyond their little window.”
Yep, and they use blackout drapes to keep it that way. LOL 😀

        • Waiting for 2012

Know what gets me about that? I know people who wouldn’t/didn’t watch the debates, but wait for the spoof on SNL. Pretty sad when you get your news from SNL. They have a lot of nerve commenting on the debates they only saw a parody of on a commedy show. Idiots. Our country is in BIG horsey-doo-doo, if that’s the case.

        • Waiting:
You had dinner with the same two people, I see. No. They didn’t watch the debates, couldn’t be bothered. They waited for the cartoon version. Perhaps Warner Bros. Should resurrect the Animaniacs to give the nightly news. Then they could understand it.

We’ve been called racists (and a whole lot worse) for four years now. Racist means nothing to me, I voted for my children and grandchildren’s future, not on who was what color.

I can remember four years ago when the O’s were walking down Pennsylvania Ave listening to the MSM people talk of how “beautiful and stylish” MO looked. Then the fashion idol continued and I started to think that I was going crazy; I thought she looked stupid and mismatched. The boob belts, the crazy clown outfits and Lordy, the toned arms.
Thank goodness I found sanctuary here and a few other places or I would have taken to drinking the hard stuff…ahem.

After the Obamacare mess and the stimulus fiasco, we were called ‘racists’ if we didn’t like what the Dems had done. I never looked back, call me anything you want I thought; I know who I am and what i stand for.

      • If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music which he hears, however measured or far away.- Thoreau
The left has never believed anyone should think differently than they do.

  1. Cutter doubles down on…well….fantasy

“Obama’s deputy campaign manager, Stephanie Cutter, complained that the paper’s endorsement “didn’t seem to be based at all in reality.”

I guess it depends on what your definition of “reality” is:

“It was a little surprising to read that editorial, because it didn’t seem to be based at all in reality — not just in the president’s record, but in Mitt Romney’s record,” Cutter said. “It says that he’d reach across the aisle, which he’d do the exact opposite. It’s the exact opposite of what he did in Massachusetts.”

This proves Ms. Cutter’s idea of “reality” is a little off the wall. The Massachusetts legislature was 85% Democrat when Mitt Romney was governor. Considering all of his accomplishments, just how does Ms. Cutter think Romney got anything done? Unlike Obama, Mr. Romney is not blessed with Lightworker powers and was forced to work with a Democrat legislature to pass his legislative program.”

    • Seems she’s upset because, shortly before the announcement was made, BO’s campaign tweeted that there was no way Romney would get the endorsement.

Gee politics can be so cruel…ah gee Cutter the feeling of a stab in the back huh? Oh my Obutt is not as popular as 2008. I wonder why!!!!

  2. To protect whom?
“When Charles Woods, the father of Tyrone Woods, one of the Navy SEALS who died fighting in Benghazi, met with Hillary Clinton, the Secretary of State assured him that, “We’re going to have that person arrested and prosecuted that did the video.” And they got him, officially on charges of violating parole, unofficially on charges of violently offending violent Muslims.

The woman whose policy had overthrown the Libyan government and then placed a barely defended consulate in the middle of a city of Jihadists, did not promise the grieving father that his son’s killers would pay. She promised him that the man who offended his son’s killers would pay.”

  3. I found this amusing….the latest PPP poll for OH has D+8…in 2008 it was D+7.

“The D/R/I partisan sample is 43/35/21, or D+8. Obama won the Buckeye State by 4.5 points in 2008 with a D+7 turnout. The 2010 Ohio electorate was R+1.”

Also the early voting stats are somewhat exaggerated to favor BO. Liberal leaning counties have lost population making redistricting necessary. The claims from the O campaign are ridiculous. If BO was doing so well, why is he here so much? Answer: It’s much tighter than they would have you believe.

From Bud mcFarlane, former natl’l security advisor:
“You don’t just passively allow Americans to remain under attack for eight hours at a time when you have forces within range and do nothing. The Secretary of Defense was in the White House at five o’clock within an hour of when the attacks started. He could have told him, “Yes. We have special operations peope and F18 aircraft that could be deployed right away. To have known what he had available, to have known that Americans were under fire, and to have done nothing, is dereliction of duty that I have never seen in a Commander in Chief from a president of any party. Outrageous.”

So, I think I know about as much about Hurricane Sandy as I ever thought I would know about any hurricane. I sure hope that Birdies in the path of the storm are all safe and sound.

Dick Morris explains why Romney doesn’t have to win Ohio even though he thinks he will. I didn’t realize Ohio only has 18 electoral votes now compared to 25 in the 1960’s:

    • Population dropoff has been huge. We lost one Rep district after the 2010 census too.

  7. Francine

I rarely read Lame Cherry due to the difficulty reading their English. Is he/she a foreigner? Nevertheless, this post seems quite plausible with respect to Benghazi:

    • There was some noise about a botched kidnapping….

  8. Read it all at the link….they knew and did nothing
“Gaddafi had a massive arsenal of weapons, including chemical weapons, that were endangered by war but there seems to have been no pre-planning by our administration on how to secure the weapons because, in the end, an unknown number of weapons fell into the hands of al Qaeda.

In early September, 2011, Al-Qaeda’s north African branch had acquired a stockpile of weapons in Libya, including surface-to-air missiles that are threatening air travel, according to the EU’s counter-terrorism coordinator, Gilles de Kerchove.

Al Qaeda members of the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM) have “gained access to weapons, either small arms or machine-guns, or certain surface-to-air missiles which are extremely dangerous because they pose a risk to flights over the territory,” said Gilles.

The Islamic Maghreb, AQIM, originated as an armed Islamist resistance movement to the secular Algerian government. It now operates mainly in Algeria, Mauritania, Mali and Niger, where it has attacked military targets and taken civilian hostages, particularly Europeans, some of whom it has killed.

Confirming the seizure of weapons was Chad’s President, Idriss Deby Itno, who told the African weekly Jeune Afrique in an interview that he was “100 per cent sure” of his assertion.

“The Islamists of al-Qaeda took advantage of the pillaging of arsenals in the rebel zone to acquire arms, including surface-to-air missiles, which were then smuggled into their sanctuaries in Tenere,” a desert region of the Sahara that stretches from northeast Niger to western Chad, Deby said in the interview.

“This is very serious. AQIM is becoming a genuine army, the best equipped in the region,” he said.

His claim was echoed by officials in other countries in the region who said that they were worried that al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM) might have acquired “heavy weapons,” thanks to the Libyan insurrection.”

  9. BO wants a Secretary of Business. Correct me if I am wrong, but isn’t this what the Secretary of Commerce does? Know who had a Sec. of Business? The Soviet Union.

    • The Original

That is what a Sec. of Commerce should be doing. We don’t need more departments. We have enough.

  10. The Original

Now here is something that you probably didn’t think you would see . . . a CA newspaper endorsing Gov. Romney.

  11. You know the Libs will get their panties in a twist over this one.
