Shouting louder….screwing it up

obama-media-group_thumb[1]Special envoy Daniel Freed is losing his job. The office on closing Gitmo is closing. So much for that ‘promise’. Reality has finally set in within the Obama administration. While our “allies” like to complain profusely about the inmates, they really don’t want them back or, want to resettle terrorists within their own borders.

The Grandstander-in-Chief had to spend 1.6 million dollars to travel to Vegas today. His big campaign speech on immigratioin reform lacked any details and was a rehashing of the Senate bill to reform immigration. BO really hates being upstaged. He was asked, begged, by the Dem Senators and the Hispanic Caucus to not say anything to stop the process. But, BO wanted everyone to know he is the leader and no one or nothing will get by him without his approval. He said a lot of nothing, got his photo op, stayed in the news cycle, and, made Jay Carney very happy. What wasn’t said is the lawsuit brought by ICE is allowed to move forward. They seem to resent the fact they are being disciplined for doing their job by upholding the immigration laws. Preezy and his cohorts thought no federal judge would allow it….they were wrong.

“The lawsuit notes the position that these ICE agents are being put in, they are  being ordered by their political appointee superiors to break federal law, or if  they don’t break federal law, according to their orders, they will be  disciplined. This is an absolutely breath taking assertion of authority and an  abuse of authority,” he added in a conference call with reporters, comparing the  situation to Fast and Furious.

BO has gone out of his way to avoid immigration reform in the last four years, now, he’s running doubletime to get out front. That upstart R-word Hispanic Senator isn’t going to get any credit for his bi-partisan efforts, not when BO is the real rock star. Watch BO move the goal post again, especially if border security is part of the bi-partisan deal.

More fake outrage over the Newtown shootings.  Leading the pack of media brights, HuffPo, MSNBC, and Piers Morgan.  It never happened.

Lying, making stuff up. This is what they teach in journalism 101?

The story went viral — with news outlets fixating, crucially, on the word “heckled” — and was essentially held up as evidence of the callousness and rabid fanaticism of certain gun enthusiasts. Piers Morgan of CNN, for example, described it as “sickening.”

The problem is that Heslin wasn’t really heckled. The Connecticut Post seems to have exaggerated what happened, since video of the incident shows that Heslin asked a question, waited for a response, and received one. He wasn’t interrupted or badgered.

Lynn, after reading your post, I became suspicious..Am I to think that O did not kill Bin Laden with his bare hands?
He will always co-opt everything, the most original thoughts he has these days consist of figuring out where he can go in his big plane to get away from Moo and smoke in peace.

Riddle me this: why is anyone assuming that legal immigrants who jumped through all the required hoops, would welcome amnesty ?

I KNOW my old sociology prof would absolutely hate it…..he said Mexico would become one of our biggest problems…..due to population explosion and lack of employment.

Christie Hefner (yes, his daughter) was on MSNBC’s Morning Joe this morning. The group was talking about gun control and started talking about Chicago’s horrible killing streets that take so many Black people.
First, “Black on Black” killings were never mentioned, at all. Just shootings. And guns.

Then the brilliant(?) MsHefner started out saying that Chicago was the most segregated city and got shut up by the rest of the group. So she moved on to GLOBAL WARMING as the reason for all the killings in Chicago. The group jumped on her again, and she had nothing more to say other than un-huh and that’s right as the others took over the conversation.

On “Weasel” there is a piece written by some idiot Dem who thinks the constitution should be changed because it’s not fair to children born by C-section. You say…what?
The idiot said the phrase “natural born children” was discrimantiory against those .

    I can’t finsh.
I’m listening to sincere people talk about “assualt” weapons as if they have a mind of their own, and the 2nd amendment was to allow people to shoot “deer”.
I’m not the sharpest knife in the drawer, and Mensa didn’t send me a membership application, but these idiots are making me feel super-smart. aaarrrggg.

    • I had to look up the c-section article because it was too stupid to be true. Egads!

      • Adrian, if we let c-section children be ignored, they will move to Guam and tip it over!
The thinking of some of these people is as magical as it was in the Dark Ages.
I hope Obamacare covers bloodletting to balance one’s humours.

        • I almost spit out my coffee reading your comment. That Guam joke NEVER gets old. May the Lord bless Rep. Johnson. May the Lord have mercy on his constituents.

        • LOL 😀
Magical thinking and magical money equals a broke state of affairs.

I had my first open Facebook blogging last week and found out that the liberals were more wacky and dead brained than I thought. Some omoron called Becky tried to tell me that she was sure that Obutt had his own beliefs and that they were no business of hers and didn’t have anything to do with her liking him as president. Then she saiid people pick on him because his daddy was born in Kenya and accuse him of being a muslim. She said he is a good president because he is helping people. The idiot didn’t think his personal beliefs had anythng to do with our economy or security as a nation. What a moron! This person was either a BO plant or was a total liberal brain dead sheep that was allowed to vote!

    • The only people BO is helping is himself and his cronies.

Check out #2- the cartogram. Explains how BO got elected (and re-elected).

Really cool Adrian. The population that voted for Obama are needy, unemployed and must rely on public assistance or are in unions and need the big bucks from the feds. Obama is faking his immigration concerns of the illegals. He is more concerned about his own image and power and what will be written about down the line in history.

    • Waiting for 2012

Obama doesn’t give a rat’s keister about the illegals’ welfare. He just wants their votes someday.

Somebody in the WH is following the WHD, that’s for sure. here I thought it was another blog of like-minded people and definitely not something that a Brit newspaper was following. I’m going to have to watch my spelling and PQ’s when I comment there.
        Or not.

      • Their ‘response’ was also a feel good moment for me as well. Always on the defensive. LOL 😀

  9. they call this a “glitch”? It’s more of the nightmare that Americans will face under Obamacare….

“Employer-sponsored health care plans are on the rise, and costs that are passed along to workers may leave some scrambling for more moderately priced plans. Such families were supposed to get financial assistance from the government to help pay for plans outside their places of employment — but according to The Associated Press, Congress didn’t include text for that financial assistance program in the final Obamacare law. So, Obamacare supporters were expecting the IRS to fix this problem — but the agency did not.

Its newly issued regulations failed to provide for that particular scenario and instead, these families will face the same fines imposed on those who don’t carry health insurance at all — the same fines as those who violate the mandate portion of Obamacare, according to the AP.

The main issue: What’s defined as affordable?”

What a mess, a downright government screwup that is the law of the land and no body is going to fix it. The unions complain that some of their members can’t affordthe new mandated healthcare, millions of poor people are no better off than before and it’s all on the Dems.
We all knew that something had to be done, some new regulations or the ability to buy across state lines or something, but we never asked the government to step in and take over our personal healthcare. When they did, they did it in a hurry, knew they couldn’t hold hearings because the people would have been outraged at everything that’s in the act, so they have no one to blame but themselves. it’s not Bush’s fault, it’s not Rush’s fault, it’s not the Repub’s fault… it’s the fault of the Dems alone.

  10. I’ve been roaming around doing some ‘catch-up’ reading …..’The Sale of Unrealistic Expectations’

[…]Her demeanor and behavior in general was so unbecoming a First Lady it was both an affront to the station she’s attained through marriage as it was to horses everywhere, and the eye-rolling-disgust during a conversation between the president and Speaker Boehner was mindful of a high school- clique prima donna, exemplifying unadulterated disdain for someone she clearly deemed to be beneath her, which begs the question, just who does she believe herself to be?

A new hair-do does not make her Jacqueline Kennedy, for she’s really just another vicarious harpy reminiscent of Hillary Clinton with respect to her owly nature and arrogant disposition, and one who categorically would have felt intimidated by being in a room with either Mrs. Bush. Collegiality is obviously not a word with which she is familiar and her behavior is clinically xenophobic, and while I loathe the politics of Obama and Boehner alike because they are merely opposite sides of the same filthy coin, it is indeed possible that they have a working relationship and do not detest one another, and that just doesn’t pass muster with the someone who fancies herself queen. She has yet to utter the phrase, “Let them eat cake,” but only because she intends to hoard it all for herself.[…]

    • As a Buckeye, I have to be honest, sometimes we say things we know will get someone’s goat, but we say it cannily, we know it itches their britches but we say it as if we are rubes.
We use the Ohio farmer stereotype to our advantage, like an old person using their age to ‘not hear’ someone.

      • 😉 indeed

  11. NO, you can’t make this stuff up….

[…]In its ad, Coke asks viewers to vote online on which characters should win the race. The online site does not allow a vote for the Arab character.

“The Coke commercial for the Super Ball is racist, portraying Arabs as backward and foolish Camel Jockeys, and they have no chance to win in the world,” Imam Ali Siddiqui, president of the Muslim Institute for Interfaith Studies, said in an email.

“What message is Coke sending with this?” asked Abed Ayoub, ADC’s director of legal and policy affairs. “By not including the Arab in the race, it is clear that the Arab is held to a different standard when compared to the other characters in the commercial,” he said.[…]

    • srdem65

I saw that ad. Sorry, Arabs, but that’s how we think of you, except in our minds you’re wearing a vest of explosives sitting on the camel while your wife walks barefoot in the sand.

Love all the good “news articles”troday. Moo helped harvest cabbage, what a laugh. Moo doesn’t get her hands dirty doing any hard work at all. Poor unions, they actually believed that Obutt would cover their asshats with health insurance. It’s trime to start taking a long walk to the White House with a thousands of marchers protesting to have Obutt resign as president.

    • I love how they cleared away every single iota of icky DC snow, and dried the summery grass underneath the artisan baskets. Not a speck of soil on the beautifully arranged cabbages. I bet if we perused stock photo sites, we can post lovely pictures “from our garden”,too.

      • LOL 😀

  13. Revealed: How immigrants in America are sending $120 BILLION to their struggling families back home

  14. srdem65

That’s not a surprise at all. Those who came here to work didn’t buy a washing machine, new shoes, or go to the movies. They lived 10 to a room, ate beans and beer, and sent the money home to Mexico where the wife/father/mother/brother would buy land or farm animals to upgrade the family so that when the worker returned, they wouldn’t have to live in abject poverty. We knew that here in Arizona.
We also know that most Mexican illegal aliens really DON’T want to be American citizens, they just didn’t want to be arrested and deported. If we look back at the marches or rallies they held, we see that they are holding the flag of Mexico, not America.
The ones who wish to stay here and raise their families are only here to get the benefits they would never have in Mexico.

  15. Carole

Srdem65 you can see that very same ideaton going on in California. You constantly here the hispanics say, “back there we have a house and relatives.” Christmas vacation comes the hispanic families zoom off to Mexico, Central and South America, and then their children either leave early for the holiday or are really late coming back. There whole lives are vbuilt around going “back there,” while living off of the “goodies” that the American taxpayers are providing for them. There seems to be very little loyalty for America as a whole, while the respect for the American people is not apparent.

  16. Okay, “The Pipples” noted that Mooch has not been moving with her “Let’s Move!” Campaign, a photo of vegetables in baskets is released, the alternative press mocks Obambi’s skeet shooting and the WH trots out a photo do him ‘shooting skeet’ (though, by his aim, it seems as if he’s going for the skeet releaser.)
We can have fun, the O’s are so obsessed with appearances, they track every criticism and parade out photo-ops. this flaw in their characters can be amusing.
I’ve never see ole Barry dressed as a clown and hosting a children’s party either.

    • Waiting for 2012

His wife already does dress like a clown.
