Nothing cramps White House style

I love the ‘WONS’! In their neverending quest to enrich our lives (no, not through employment, lower gas or energy prices, or food prices) but, by having those lovely concerts and workshops by some of their most devout sycophantic fans in the entertainment industry. How gracious of them to have the concerts televised, with your tax dollars hard at work, for PBS. Their reasoning is just exquisite as they seek to reassure us they are doing this for “the little people” who can’t afford to go to concerts. But, in spite of their logic, and the sequester, there are small minded people who are still disgruntled over their own economic situation. Can’t they understand BO has the blues? WH bluesHe works so hard for us and needs a respite from the mean guys in Congress who refuse to ‘compromise’ on his tax and spend agenda. BO and MO have flown around the country on Air Force Won and Too calling for reform on everything embodied in our Constitution and,  have earned a much needed break from all that campaigning for ‘hope and change’.

MO was exceedingly happy to host a workshop for 120 students to learn a little history of the ‘Memphis Soul‘ sound and, meet with the entertainers who created that particular brand of music. Well, not Justin Timberlake, who looked decidedly out of place at this particular event.

Like a “schoolgirl with the giggles” MO introduced “several Memphis musicians” to the attendees. MO phony 1Since all those singers and musicians were in DC for that very special workshop, why not call some people up and throw a concert?  After all, why should just a few people get the benefit of all that talent? Besides this would give MO a chance to play dress- up, which she loves to do, and sing along to a Timberlake rendition of Otis Reddings’  ‘Dock of the Bay’.

MO singsNot to be outdone by MO snatching all the limelite, Preezy had his own moment of jocularity by dancing in the aisles. Dancing BO

A good time was had by all. BO familyIsn’t it wonderful that we paid for all this to give our very special First Family the grand evening they so richly deserve? As for the rest of us, we can watch it on PBS since there is so little left in our paychecks to attend concerts.

  1. “When President Obama released his first budget — entitled with no hint of irony, “A New Era of Responsibility” — he projected that deficit spending over the next five fiscal years (2010-14) would total $3.767 trillion. Now, Obama has released his fifth budget (which doesn’t seem to have a name). In it, he says that deficit spending over that same 5-year span (2010-14) will instead total $5.398 trillion. (This includes three years that are already on the books — see Table 1.1.) So Obama now admits that his original 5-year projection was off by $1,631,000,000,000.00 — or 43 percent.”

It’s a small mistake anyone could make /

  2. Did anyone not see this coming?
“Obama’s plan to simultaneously compel enrollment in a retirement account and prohibit Americans from saving more than what he believes is a “reasonable” amount in such an account is published in part of his budget that deals with what the president calls “rebalancing the tax code.”

  3. She looks drunk/drugged in the pictures from the party the other night. Once they are out of the WH, she will probably be sent to a facility for treatment. Don’t expect her to be as candid as Betty Ford was, though.

    • Bet she’s still ugly when all that star quality make-up is cleaned off her face.

  4. There are lies and there are damned lies….State Dept. tells a lot of “damned lies”….

  5. Waiting for 2012

I’m so danged SICK of this family.

    • they’re having so much fun paycayshuning and partying they forgot about the job BO was hired to do….

The O’s will not be happy until every average American is poor, and every minority and illegal is rich.. Sorry if that sounds harsh, but it’s hard to find any other explanation for his actions. Their so-called ‘income’ is way down again this year to the 600k range. Now we will get to find out if Moo actually pays for anything.. Hard to see how she can keep up her image and ‘style’ on that.

    • $300,00 in debt when ‘they’ took office. Betting on Penny Pritzker and others to purchase their new home in HA and speaking engagements to support their lifestyle. Just like the Clintons and others have done.

    • Maybe the State Dept. will buy another 70,000 books to bolster Bo’s income …. 😀

  7. Today is the 270th birthday of Thomas Jefferson…..he believed strongly in the free market.

  8. Another blow to ‘global warming’…..junk science on steroids
” Last year’s huge drought was a freak of nature that wasn’t caused by man-made global warming, a new federal science study finds.

Scientists say the lack of moisture usually pushed up from the Gulf of Mexico was the main reason for the drought in the nation’s midsection.

Thursday’s report by dozens of scientists from five different federal agencies looked into why forecasters didn’t see the drought coming. The researchers concluded that it was so unusual and unpredictable that it couldn’t have been forecast.

“This is one of those events that comes along once every couple hundreds of years,” said lead author Martin Hoerling, a research meteorologist at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. “Climate change was not a significant part, if any, of the event.”

I see you’re still trying to stay relevant Lynn even though your blog of hatred is withering on it’s vine. It’s pretty telling when 73% of the comments are by you.

The reelection of the President keeps me giddy as I watch and listen to you nut-jobs lose your shit over everything the O’s do.

I used to think that people like you and the folks that think like you were just low information high school drop-outs who were capable of learning if given the opportunity. Then I realized, after reading comment after comment on right wing sites, that you people choose to be spoon fed info that fits into your stereotypical biases. Basically, you revel in your ignorance.

I get that regurgitating bigoted caricatures of what all minorities are like and how all minorities act makes you people feel superior and keeps at bay the truth that people like you are finally becoming non-factors. The reign of entitlement and white majority rule are waning. I find it interesting that folks who are convinced that racism no longer exists are scared shitless that they are becoming the minority. According to you and your like, minorities have it so wonderful so what’s the prob?.

Anyway, I thought I’d drop by and check out what you old birds were up to. Thankfully, it looks like the majority of these Christian birds and tea-baggers have flown the coop or dropped dead from the misery and hatred in their hearts. Good old Christians, that’s how they roll.

    • thanks for stopping….
      Members of the US Civil Rights Commission agree with me, not the ‘Black’ Caucus, on the impact of illegal immigration on young black low skilled workers….from their letter;

“Before the federal government decides to grant legal status to illegal immigrants, due deliberation should be given to what effect such grant will have on the employment and earnings prospects of low-skill Americans generally and black Americans specifically,” they wrote. “We respectfully submit that granting such legal status is not without substantial costs to American workers.”

I was right about the negative effects on Medicare costs to our seniors…..

“Over time, the higher premiums will affect people who by today’s standards are considered middle-income,” explained Tricia Neuman, vice president for Medicare policy at the nonpartisan Kaiser Family Foundation. “At some point, it raises questions about whether (Medicare) premiums will continue to be affordable.”

Required withdrawals from retirement accounts would be the trigger for some of these retirees. For others it could be taking a part-time job.

One consequence could be political problems for Medicare. A growing group of beneficiaries might come together around a shared a sense of grievance.

“That’s part of the problem with the premiums — they simply act like a higher tax based on income,” said David Certner, federal policy director for AARP, the seniors lobby.–politics.html

Even Politico is catching up on the ‘special’ ways Congress covers for their “insider trading” info to enrich themselves….

“Not only does the change undermine the intent of the original bill to ensure government insiders are not profiting from nonpublic information (if anyone thinks high-level congressional staffers don’t have as much or more insider information than their bosses, they should spend some time on Capitol Hill), but it sets an extraordinarily dangerous precedent suggesting that any risks stem not from information being public but from public information being online,”

I agree with highly educated black men and women and, in spite of your race mongering, will keep saying they are right about the conditions that have left blacks in the most appalling circumstances……

Conservatives of Color believe that the decline in our communities can be traced back more than 50 years with the breakdown of the Black Family, as many children within our communities were born to single Mothers with government dependency replacing actual Fatherhood in our families. Miseducation is the other side of that equation, as many public schools within our communities are considered sub-par at best and downright criminal at worst.

More than 50 years ago education was seen as the key to achievement and economic freedoms, but today in many of the same communities, proper education is seen as akin to what some have labeled; “as acting White.” Many Conservatives of Color see the public school system of today not as part of the solution, but part of the problem and this is why we are firm believers in school choice (vouchers, charter, private religious schools, etc.) for those involved parents in our economically depressed areas, who want better for their children other than generational government dependency.

In those same 50 years, self appointed Black leaders, Liberal politicians and so-called community activists have convinced the majority in our community that government is the solution to all their problems, as long as they are in control of that government. All one has to do is look at governments in place like Chicago, Detroit and Los Angeles and you will see nothing but dystopia communities often caught in the generational economic depression, mass violence and endless government dependency.

The White House budget for 2012 was $749 million, the Obama budget came in at 1.4 billion. A little over the top in these economic times. I will continue to criticize their lavish lifestyle, parties, and extravagances while 47% of Americans are on food stamps.

Your comment is a pathetic attempt to label me and stuff me in a box…..your problem is quite apparent. You fear the truth. Groveling to any political persona is not on my agenda, no matter what color their skin happens to be. Your assumptions are as asinine as your comment.

    • and this…. Obama approves of late term abortions…killing babies that are alive, mostly poor minority babies, because no one should “be punished” with an unwanted child. That is sick!

Bloomberg columnist Jeffrey Goldberg writes: “It’s too late now, though, to suppress coverage. [Kirsten] Powers and others have shamed the media into paying attention, and the press is now on the case. It’s remarkable that it took this long.”

      Kirsten Powers, Liberal (large L), in USA Today;

Planned Parenthood recently claimed that the possibility of infants surviving late-term abortions was “highly unusual.” The Gosnell case suggests otherwise.

Regardless of such quibbles, about whether Gosnell was killing the infants one second after they left the womb instead of partially inside or completely inside the womb — as in a routine late-term abortion — is merely a matter of geography. That one is murder and the other is a legal procedure is morally irreconcilable.

This is what Obama approves of?

      • eenie

Please post the link where President Obama approves of late term abortions. I must have missed that.

        • This should satisfy your amazing lack of knowledge. The speech to Planned Parenthood (actually Unplanned Parenthood is at the link.

In a speech before Planned Parenthood in July 2007, Obama decried the recent Supreme Court decision upholding the partial-birth abortion ban.

“There’s a lot at stake in this election, especially for our daughters. To appreciate that all you have to do is review the recent decisions handed down by the Supreme Court of the United States,” he said.
“For the first time in Gonzales versus Carhart, the Supreme Court held—upheld a federal ban on abortions with criminal penalties for doctors,” he complained.</blockquote>

    • From the low info voters at Huffington Post….stay giddy LOL 😀

  12. The continuing saga of public school scandals….grade inflation…..ethics violations….it’s never been about the kids in public schools, all about the unions and money…

City investigators are probing a whopping 21 cases of ethical misconduct on the annual schools survey from 2013, Education Department officials said Friday.

Results from the high-stakes polls of students, teachers and parents are used in decisions to award cash bonuses to principals and close schools when scores are bad.

  13. After all we’ve been through…. not a good idea…

    • A personal anecdote…
As a parent I am more than cautious about school assignments. My kid was involved in a Black History month role playing assignment that assigned groups of students as “slaves” and “owners”. My son did the only logical thing, he freed all his slaves and mounted an insurrection. The teacher told him if he didn’t participate in the “correct way” he would be assigned 9 detentions. He refused, got the detentions and I flipped out. I went to the principle of the school and explained why my son would not serve any detentions and believed he was the only person in that class who actually got it right, based on the morality he was taught at home. The Principle ruled in his favor, he didn’t serve any detentions. Although the teacher may have meant well, it was the wrong way to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. and Black History.
Kudos to the students who refused to participate!

      • Hooray for you, too! That’s one good kid you are raising…not surprising considering the parents are such good role models!

        • Thanks, that means a lot…. 😉

      • I can’t possibly believe a teacher would make so light of slavery that she would attempt such an assignment, especially during Black History Month. Your son not only did the logical thing, but the right thing.
This experiment has been tried on another level before, with sad results: The Stanford Prison Experiment,
He accomplished the assignment in the only correct way to do it.

  14. Obama pays lower tax rate, 18.4%…..gave 24.6% of income to charities.
Finally, one thing they deserve kudos for doing….

  15. A very sorry, sad state of affairs……PA rotten to the core without him

  16. So much in the news upsets me lately that I’ve taken to turning it all off over the weekend in order to relax.

Here is something joyful for this Sunday evening. W and Laura are now grandparents. Jenna and her husband, Henry, welcomed Margaret Laura into the world last night. Congratulations to the Bush and Hager families!

    • What nice news!! I betcha Grandpa and Grandma spoil that little girl rotten. 🙂
Can’t wait to see a photo of W. and Laura with the baby…I can see the twinkle in W’s eyes.

    • Oh, that’s wonderful! Doting grandparents for sure….bet that little one’s feet won’t hit the floor until she’s at least two! 😀
