Utopia abandoned…for now
You’ve probably heard about the “let’s not enact a portion of Obamacare until after the 2014 elections” announcement. The Insiders: Democrats are trying to suppress the confusion and hide the cost of ObamaCare. Even they know it’s a “train wreck” as stated by the bill’s architect, Max Baucus.
In midterm elections, those who vote tend to be more engaged voters. In other words, these voters will notice if they have health insurance that is more expensive but offers less coverage than what they had before ObamaCare. Some of the Democrats’ reactions will be predictable, i.e. blaming Bush and blaming Republicans, or for a while, denying the obvious. But that won’t work forever. One of the worst sins you can commit in politics is to say something that’s different from what people can see for themselves. There is no chance that Obamacare will perform as promised and when it doesn’t, voters will be looking for relief.
This “announcement” just proves what we’ve been saying, the law is unworkable. It has, and will, cost Americans their jobs and raise the cost of healthcare for everyone…..well….except those receiving special dispensation.
According to Kaiser’s latest polling, Americans think Obamacare will be bad for their themselves and bad for their country — and, in both respects, they say they’re more convinced than ever that that’s true.
The ‘greenies’ don’t want you to know the big mess they’ve helped create with windfarms. Their utopian dream can’t continue unless it’s subsidized by the hardworking taxpayers. End subsidies and the lucrative cronyism of the political left and down it goes in flames. 14,000 Abandoned Wind Turbines in the USA.
The symbol of Green renewable energy, our saviour from the non existent problem of Global Warming, abandoned wind farms are starting to litter the planet as globally governments cut the subsidies taxes that consumers pay for the privilege of having a very expensive power source that does not work every day for various reasons like it’s too cold or the wind speed is too high.
The US experience with wind farms has left over 14,000 wind turbines abandoned and slowly decaying, in most instances the turbines are just left as symbols of a dying Climate Religion, nowhere have the Green Environmentalists appeared to clear up their mess or even complain about the abandoned wind farms.
While BO whines on and on about your carbon footprint and your cheap energy and the necessity of heavy handed EPA rules and regs, he certainly doesn’t want anyone to focus on his energy usage and his huge carbon footprint or the cost of his photo-op travels.
Speaking of energy and cronyism, taxpayers will be “investing” 7 billion dollars to bring electricity to sub-Saharan Africa . We certainly are a generous people. The deal will generate huge rewards for General Electric, a company run by former Obama economic adviser Jeffrey Immelt, Forbes reports.
General Electric will be perhaps the biggest beneficiary of that $7 billion in U.S. taxpayer funds that Obama says will underwrite Power Africa.
Isn’t it great? How’s that hope and change working out for the ‘commoners’? You know, the ones who work, pay taxes and who are totally ignored for the sake of the elite in our society. Our governing bodies couldn’t get any scummier if they tried.
