Friday Bits and Pieces
Hope everyone had a great 4th! I know BO and MO had an evening of fun watching the fireworks from the White House roof…
That’s MO on the right sans wigs and extensions. She doesn’t really have to ‘cut’ her bangs, just buy a different wig with shorter bangs or, better yet, just wear her hair as a ‘natural’. She wants us to focus laserlike on all the good she does, but, it’s really difficult to find anything she has actually accomplished other than being married to the shyster in the White House. It’s going to be difficult for the sycophants to believe their lyin’ eyes. White House photographer Pete Souza shared the above photo on Twitter last night.

About that “immigration bill”…..After reading about a study done on US net employment, I am more then ever convinced it should not pass. It’s detrimental to native born Americans.
A new study of government data has found that all of the net domestic gain in employment over the last 13 years in the United States has gone to foreign-born (legal and illegal) workers.
I do not have a problem with the legal workers in the US or legal immigrants. I do, however, have a major problem with illegals who pull down the wages of the working poor. R-words and D-words keep talking about the ‘compassion’ we need for those “living in the shadows” but, what about some of that compassion for the American worker?
CIS found that over the last 13 years, the “number of adult natives with no more than high school education not working is 4.9 million larger in 2013 than in 2000” while the “number with some college not working is up 6.8 million.” Even native-born Americans with at least a bachelor’s degree who are not working is up 3.8 million from 2000.
In addition, the study found that the “fall in the share of working-age natives holding a job has been most pronounced for men, blacks, and Hispanics.”
It would seem the only reason to pass an immigration bill is for the votes that both parties might gain by legalizing lawbreakers. As BO keeps reminding us “we are a nation of laws”. If so, why reward lawbreakers with citizenship?
“The last 13 years, or even the last five years, make clear that large-scale immigration can go hand-in-hand with weak job growth and declining rates of work among the native-born,” the authors write. “Given the employment situation in the country, the dramatic increases in legal immigration contemplated by the Gang of Eight immigration bill seem out of touch with the realities of the U.S. labor market.”
The “Under Employment” rate has risen to 14.3%. How’s that “hope and change” working out for you….
