Does BO not know everything within the Federal Government is done with his name attached to it? He can’t distance himself from the scandals and screw ups, they all belong to him. Maybe he needs better advisors and press staff to keep him from being such a liar. No matter what ‘definitions’ he applies to the words he speaks, Americans are not stupid, nor will they hesitate, unlike the LSM, to call him out on his hypocrisy. BO has not only lost credibility with our allies, but our enemies as well. Bo’s ideology keeps him from facing the truth and the mealy mouth responses to the enemy make the US weaker.
He lied on Leno saying there is no spying on American citizens, then makes a speech to say the spying will be more “transparent” and the public will be more informed on the NSA spying program at his presser on Friday. BO can’t have it both ways but, he certainly is working hard to convince us he can. If it was wrong during the Bush administration, expanding the PRISM program is even more so now. The Hypocrite In Chief had this to say as a Senator
When the House of Representatives recently considered an amendment that would have dismantled the NSA’s bulk phone records collection program, the White House swiftly condemned the measure. But only five years ago, Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill. was part of a group of legislators that supported substantial changes to NSA surveillance programs. Here are some of the proposals the president co-sponsored as a senator.
According to both sides (R-words and D-words) in DC, everyday hardworking American citizens are the “enemy” and, “Bin Laden is dead, GM is alive, Al Qaeda is decimated”. In case no one has noticed, it would seem the Obamites in the Federal Government are more paranoid of the US citizenry than they are of our real enemies. That is the only reason for all this spying on our daily activities, the IRS singling out certain groups, and all the other draconian measures being used by this administration to interfere in our daily lives. Creating a website is not the answer, getting the hell out of our personal lives is the answer. Secure E-Mail Companies Say There’s No Such Thing Anymore
For several providers of secure electronic communications, no amount of official reassurance could change one basic fact: There is no technical way for them to make e-mail that they consider “unsnoopable.” The day before Obama’s comments, Lavabit, a secure e-mail provider that was reportedly used by Edward Snowden, announced it was suspending its service and offered this word of warning to its now-former users:
“Without congressional action or a strong judicial precedent, I would strongly recommend against anyone trusting their private data to a company with physical ties to the United States.”
So, while refusing to make Federal employees emails available to investigative committees because of their criminal conduct and lack of ethics, Obama and his cohorts are scheming to make you more “comfortable” with their “spying”.
Here’s a thought provoking suggestion, deny travel visas from any country engaged in jihadist activities, profile the countries that are supporting jihadist activities (Saudi Arabia, Chechnya, Iraq, Syria, Iran, etc) and leave the rest of us alone. Stop supporting the Muslim Brotherhood! They are the enemy, whether BO wants to admit it or not. Stop catering to the Imams in the US who work against the interests of our country and the organizations that support them. I am so tired of the sanctimonious speeches from Obama and his “smart diplomacy”.
The sanctimonious Al-Arabiya interview, the Cairo Speech, and the missionary declarations on Libya all presupposed that Obama alone was sensitive to diverse cultures and had both the charisma and moxie to win over those who were previously alienated due to less-sophisticated American leaders.
The result is not just chaos in the Middle East — an unbound Iran, the Syrian quagmire, the Somalization of Libya, Benghazi, the closing of an unprecedented number of embassies, the Egyptian flip-flop-flips, another doomed Israeli-Palestinian initiative — but a global sense that most countries either politely tune Obama’s soaring rhetoric out, or enjoy finding ways to expose the lack of commensurate concrete consequences.
Just in case you haven’t seen the paycayshun home the WONs will occupy during their annual trek to the Vineyard, the Daily Mail has some extraordinary pics of the place.
I’m sure they will all have a lovely time, the residents not so much. Road closures will cause many detours and disruptions
Mr. Obama and the first family are set to arrive on Saturday and stay at a private home on Snail Road. The home is owned by David Schulte. Utility crews working around the property held up traffic on South Road Tuesday afternoon and the sign marking the road has been taken down.
Mr. Cioffi said signs will be placed along South, Middle and North Roads, as well as Music street to warn the public about the closure.
Lucy Vincent Beach will remain open to the public, Mr. Cioffi said. He also said security plans are still being developed for Chilmark Pond, which is accessible from the house.
Plans are still subject to change, Mr. Cioffi said.
News of the road closure was met with sharp criticism by selectman and chairman of the board Warren Doty.
“My response to this is we’ve had the president come to our town three times and it’s been very cordial and there’s been very little disruption and we love to have him,” he said. “This would change that approach . . . and be very disruptive.
Well, why not disrupt their lives, BO’s been disrupting everyone else’s for the last 4.5 years.
