Can’t Make This Stuff Up

Stay tough, the voice of reason is finally being heard.

Ashton Kutcher brought a dose of reality to the Teen Choice Awards;

“I believe that opportunity  looks a lot like hard work. When I was 13, I had  my first job with my  dad carrying shingles up to the roof, and then I got a job  washing  dishes at a restaurant, and then I got a job in a grocery store deli,   and then I got a job at a factory sweeping Cheerio dust off the ground.”

“And I’ve never had a job in my  life that I was better than. I was always just  lucky to have a job. And  every job I had was a stepping stone to my next job,  and I never quit my  job until I had my next job. And so opportunities look a  lot like  work.”

This is not the message our entitlement minded Preezy and the Progs want to hear. It doesn’t fit their narrative. Yes, opportunity does look a whole lot like hard work.

Want to know why McCain and Graham went on their Egyptian junket along with deputy Secretary of State Burns? Walid Shoebat seems to have found the answer.  Does Jailed Brotherhood leader have goods on Obama?

“Al-Shater is implicated in weapons trafficking through the Sinai and into Gaza as well as negotiating prisoner releases in exchange for terrorists. He has also been jailed multiple times.

Again, why would the United States’ #2 diplomat traipse over to Egypt to talk with a jailed Muslim Brotherhood leader? And why Al-Shater? We can’t answer those questions but we can say that Saad Al-Shater’s alleged charges make more sense than the behavior of U.S. officials.”

How can a “charity” run deficits in the millions? If the name Clinton is attached….well, you know the rest. The New York Times takes down the Clinton Foundation

The NYT runs the scoop in its usual balanced, inoffensive way – but the problem jumps right off the page. The Clintons have never been able to separate the impulses to help others and to help themselves, turning noble philanthropic ventures into glitzy, costly promos for some future campaign (can you remember a time in human history when a Clinton wasn’t running for office?). And their “Ain’t I Great?!” ethos attracts the rich and powerful with such naked abandon that it ends up compromising whatever moral crusade they happen to have endorsed that month….snip

For too long now, Bill Clinton has pitched himself, almost without question, as a homespun populist: the Boy from Hope. The reality is that this is a man who – in May 1993 – prevented other planes from landing at LAX for 90 minues while he got a haircut from a Beverley Hills hairdresser aboard Air Force One. The Clintons are populists in the same way that Barack Obama is a Nobel prize winner. Oh, wait…

Shrillary is on the campaign trail…now that she’s all rested up from hitting her head and having amnesia (“what difference does it make”) on the Benghazi debacle she oversaw while SoS. She’s calling it a tour to “restore faith in government. Uh-huh…. She is an unethical liar in the same vein as BO….just been at it longer.

The actions of Hillary and her cohorts went directly against the judgment of top Democrats, up to and including then-House Majority Leader Tip O’Neill, that Nixon clearly had the right to counsel. Zeifman says that Hillary, along with Marshall, Nussbaum and Doar, was determined to gain enough votes on the Judiciary Committee to change House rules and deny counsel to Nixon. And in order to pull this off, Zeifman says Hillary wrote a fraudulent legal brief, and confiscated public documents to hide her deception.

I am so tired of political dynasties.

Empty jobs plague Obama administration….. yes, BO is lazy!

Oooopsy….Reggie Love and Spades,

“Most people were like down in the Situation Room and [President Obama] was like, ‘I’m not going to be down there, I can’t watch this entire thing,’ We must have played 15 games of spades.”

Yep, the country is in the very best of hands….

America  is dangerously close to having a functional 21st century tyranny  sustained by a rampart of interlocking of governmental databases and a zealous  bureaucracy that seeks out  and punishes  any reactionary  dissent.  All this with the blessings of the MSM, whose fate will be the  fate of all “useful idiots” once their usefulness has passed.

  1. Carole

Isn’t this interesting? Maybe even the libs are tired of the hype about climate change.

  2. MO has a hip hop video coming out….proving she is one big mover and shaker… 😀

  3. This is no different than those countries reacting freakishly when there were cartoons of the prophet Mohammed. That is exactly what this is. It is as though President Obama is a messiah or is a god and this little thing that happened at the Missouri State Fair is a defamation, a denunciation, almost a religious sacrilege that took place.

Liberals are becoming so bizarre and extreme in their zeal

  4. Brainwashing…..

“Barack Obama, thank you for doing everything and all the kind stuff. Thank you for all the stuff that you helped us with.”

“Thank you for taking the courage and responsibility for everything you’ve done for us,” the boy continues, adding that God has given the president “a special power.”

“You are good, Barack Obama. You are great,” he concludes, throwing his arms in the arms and screaming, “Barack Obama!”

  5. Obama/Kardashian feud…. LOL 😀
    She’s right!
“Wow, her job affords her to live in a 10,000 square foot house,” she continued. “And I think, if I’m not mistaken, that Mr. President’s job affords him to live in a 55,000 square foot house.”

  6. Inflation at the Dept of Injustice….they lie even when they don’t need to lie

The Justice Department made a long-overdue disclosure late Friday: Last year when U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder boasted about the successes that a high-profile task force racked up pursuing mortgage fraud, the numbers he trumpeted were grossly overstated.

We’re not talking small differences here. Originally the Justice Department said 530 people were charged criminally as part of a year-long initiative by the multi-agency Mortgage Fraud Working Group. It now says the actual figure was 107 — or 80 percent less. Holder originally said the defendants had victimized more than 73,000 American homeowners. That number was revised to 17,185, while estimates of homeowner losses associated with the frauds dropped to $95 million from $1 billion.

  7. Who cares…”at this point, what difference does it make”….. this is the most loathsome crime

  8. BO caused the Egyptian problem and the chaos…now wants to beat them up.
Just scroll down for the highlights of the chaos

  9. CVS jumps the shark….

Nail polish remover has become an age restricted, controlled substance.

A week ago, CVS has instituted a policy in the Washington D.C. region that anyone who purchases nail polish remover from one of their stores will have their ID scanned and their purchases tracked.

  10. You will be raided…. trust us, we’re from the government and here to help you

  11. Basically the head-in-sand approach to diplomacy….lots of mixed messages and very little coherence on the ME in Obamaworld…

“The administration has been uniformly desirous of de-emphasizing the threat from Islamists and suggesting that it is something that they can prevail … with bullets and drone strikes, which is not the case,” he said. “This is much more like the Cold War. It’s going to last decades, not years, and it’s going to take perseverance and persistence on the part of the United States and we have to be realistic. And the administration is not realistic about it. They’re unwilling to even identify what the enemy is. They won’t even use the word Islamist.

“They don’t even acknowledge the fact that there are people being trained in a number of countries to go out and kill innocent men, women, and children who are American. And unless you’re willing to do that, you’re not likely to prevail over the long term.”

  12. “Unwilling to ask Congress for extra funds to pay for high-speed Internet connections in schools, President Obama is instead looking to tack yet another charge on cellphones through the Federal Communications Commission.

The new program, called ConnectED, would expand an existing school-wiring effort and cost each cellphone user about $5 a year, said White House officials.

In New York City, the ubiquitous mobile devices already carry 10 separate city, state and federal fees and charges — and that doesn’t include sales taxes.”

  13. Obama lets Christians die without much interest….so does the media….the West will never learn….

  14. Obama should actually bone up on the ME….not many think he’s right about anything…..not even the Arabs

Taxi drivers who some think reflect public mood do not conceal their anger of what they call a “financial crisis” due to a decline of business under the Brotherhood’s rule.

Rumors are rife in Egypt and each is spread and denied several times. However, no one can fail to realize that the public mood, particularly of the middle class, is strongly opposed to the Brotherhood and their allies and the ones staging the rallies in Rabaa Al-Adawiya and Nahda squares as well as traffic blockages. The public often appears to be more firm than the interim government, demanding decisive and rapid measures even if it will cost them a high price. Although the popularity of the military jumped enormously after June 30, no one can guarantee the public’s mood, which is currently hungry for a showdown, will not change if much blood is shed. Most Egyptians do not like to see blood.

Perhaps this is what the Brotherhood is betting on following the historic defeat it suffered after a year in power. The group is currently behaving in a manner tantamount to political suicide, with its unrealistic demands and acts which some liken to acts of revenge on society. The Brotherhood is intentionally turning a blind eye to the public atmosphere opposing its policy, as well as the outrage of the residents in the areas where they are staging rallies.
