Executive Disorder

Trust him? I don’t think so….

Publicly, Obama has repeatedly said that “we would not put boots on the ground.” His proposed authorization, though, did not limit the kinds of military forces that could be used. It also does not specify the forces against which force can be used.

“It would likely allow him to use force against Syrian rebels as well as the Assad regime, if it seems possible that the former have obtained chemical weapons or are likely to do so,” Somin said.

Obama’s proposed authorization would also allow military action to stop the “transfer to terrorist groups or other state or non-state actors” of the designated weapons. This includes actions involving weapons transfers “within, to or from Syria,” which potentially extends authority to act well outside Syria itself.

Why should we ‘trust’ the man who publicly told us there was no national spying program? How about the lies he told concerning Benghazi?  The list is a long one….he lies when he doesn’t have to and makes things up to fit his illusion.

BO foot on desk  This always pi**es me off to no end.  Was he raised in a barn? Shows the respect BO has for the Oval Office and the ‘People’s House’.

Looks as if the R-words are making a case for BO bombing, D-words are quiet as mice. Graham and McCain backing BO making a better case than BO. Putin thinks…..ready for it?……..his parliamentary members should come to DC and discuss the Syrian situation with our Congress. Talk about a slap in the face to BO…but, he set the precedent for that by letting the Mexican Preezy  address Congress and insult us. Syria’s Preezy has gone to the UN to complain about the possibility of being bombed. The jihadists are not only fighting against the government but, also killing the more moderate Muslim types and Christians. Iraq is going down the tubes and close to a civil war (Sunni vs. Shiite) with the wealthy Saudi families supporting the Sunni. The Arab League is whining about Assad (been doing that for the last 5-7 years). First they tried to sweet talk Assad to pull him away from Shiite Iran. Since the Alawites are an off shoot of Shiite, that didn’t work well. Now, everyone wants the US to pound the snot out of Assad. Well, except Russia, China, and North Korea, who are all in cahoots together against the West. Nine NK scientists were killed in the bombing of a Syrian reactor a few years ago. The French are a go but, won’t be doing any of the actual bombing. They are all up for the US to do it because Lebanon is their pet in the ME. They don’t want to see the delicate political balance upset and another 20 year civil war. With Hezbollah in the mix, and rockets already being fired inside Lebanon…’s not looking good for them. So, we get the short end of the stick no matter what we do. That is our ME foreign policy. Sucks to be us doesn’t it?

What goes around, comes around…..Making Arab Heads Explode

  1. LMAO….couldn’t happen to a nicer bunch of people….O/T worth mentioning

In what is being reported as a surprise move, the 40,000 members of the International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWU) announced that they have formally ended their association with the AFL-CIO, one of the nation’s largest private sector unions. The Longshoremen citied Obamacare and immigration reform as two important causes of their disaffiliation.

  2. I can’t tell you how much this whole Syria “crisis” not only pisses me off, but also disgusts me. Forgive me for being crass and insensitive, but who the hell cares if 1500 people die from a gas attack from SOMEBODY in Syria? I am sorry, but while it is a tragedy when ANYONE dies too soon, these people have been killing each other for centuries. No “shot across the bow” will deter them. It will just piss them off. And it will make us look like idiots. If these people want to kill each other, let them. I am so sick of our admin thinking that every time some ME country farts on the wrong key we have to go in and depose the leader and install an even worse corrupt regime. This country is tired of foreign wars, and I believe will not stand for another ME war. Where are all the protesters now? The same ones that protested and caused massive mayhem and destruction when Bush invaded Iraq? Crickets…..I already wrote Congressman Issa to vote NO on getting involved in Syria. If there is a true “international outrage” over this gassing incident (#14 incident by the way, according to Keith Koffler at White House Dossier), why now? Why not be outraged when the first incident happened? I am not convinced of the “intel” that Kerry said is irrefutable. This from the same guy who lied about Vietnam, from the same state dept that lied about Bengazi and the “fog of war”. PUHLEEZE. I read about very conflicting reports saying that it was the rebels armed by Saudi Arabia that gassed the people, so who’s to blame? I say stay out of Syria. We cannot afford another war. I sincerely pray that there will be some common sense and that cooler heads will prevail when Congress comes home to vote. AND…….if this was such a “national security emergency”, why hasn’t congress come home yet??? Aw, gee, can’t cut short your vacation???? I say BRAVO for the British parliament to say NO to an intervention in Syria. Thank goodness Cameron listened to THE PEOPLE and will stay out. I hope that Congress listens to the people. I want us to focus on all the other scandals we have going on here in the US. I think this is just a mere distraction to keep us from investigating other crap this admin is guilty of. The whole world is looking at us (zero) and laughing at us. W/ 9/11 coming up, I hope and pray that this indecisive, inept, weakness that our admin has shown will not embolden our enemies to strike against us again.

    • Responding to myself…..more people die here in the US from abortions, gang violence, race violence, whatever, where’s the outrage for that? While 1500 people is a large amount, it pales in comparison to the thousands and thousands that are killed annually here in the US. And all this “it’s for the children” crap…..where’s the support for all the babies killed from the hundreds of thousands of abortions performed every year???? Thy hypocrisy is maddening.

      • Carole

Well, let’s see? Kerry spent 3 months in Vietnam and somehow got shot in the leg or foot. Hmmmmmmm, I know it was said by other military personnel that Kerry shot himself. Do I believe it? You betcha, Little Beaver!!! He not only has the oddest head I have ever seen, butt a yellow stripe goes down his back and ” blame” comes spewing from his pursed lips and his tail wags when Barry pats his back and calls him one of the “good ole lying boys.”

        • Don’t forget, one of his Purple Hearts came from a piece of rice that had to be pulled out of his butt…

          • Really? That I didn’t know…..LOL 😀

          • Carole

Annie’s Mom, you are soooooooooo funny!

    • All the lies and secrecy…the spying on every single one of us….the clusterf*** known as Benghazi….IRS scandals……Boosting the image of the Muslim Brotherhood as Islamic moderates…..”leading from behind”…….and more……BO keeps asking for our trust but, he has done everything he can to destroy that trust….I don’t believe one word that falls out of his mouth.

      • I agree. I have gotten to the point that if O speaks, I believe the opposite of what he is saying. That pretty much goes for anyone and anything in his admin. It seems he so much wants an excuse to go to war, to make another disaster of a ME country to install the MB. I hope he gets slapped down hard and put in his place by our congress. And I wish to hell that Lindsey Graham and Mc Cain would shut the hell up. I am sick of these turncoats. They are in zero’s back pocket and in no way represent republican or conservative ideas.

  3. YEP…Assad confirms negative repercussions for the French “interests” …..Lebanon

Asked if France, whose president has said he will support the U.S. in an attack on Syria, was now an enemy of Syria, Assad said: “Whoever contributes to the financial and military support of terrorists is an enemy of the Syrian people. Whoever works against the interests of Syria and its citizens is an enemy.”

“There will be repercussions, negative of course, for French interests,” Assad said

  4. When Egyptian Christians asked BO’s Rep “what is the red line for Christians in Egypt”, he told them “I didn’t bring my red pen”…..what an asshat….

    • Carole

I hope BO gets the red X placed on his yellow treasonous high pocket hinny for a bullseye target of “Let’s kick this asshat right out of the White House and send him into exile to Never, Never Land.”

  5. The terrorists trying to infiltrate the CIA: Security agency says one FIFTH of applicants have suspicious background with significant links to terror groups

  6. Candidate Obama had no experience in foreign policy and has always winged it, now and then recklessly sounding off when he thought he could score cheap points against George Bush. As president, he still has no idea of how foreign policy is conducted, and thus continues to make things up as he goes along, often boxing himself into a corner with serial contradictions. Trying to discern any consistency or pattern in such an undisciplined mind is a futile exercise: what Obama says or does at any given moment usually is antithetical to what he said or did on a prior occasion. He is simply lost and out of his league.

NATO says firm response needed in chemical attacks….

  8. While the ‘left’ screamed about Bush and no WMDs in Iraq, some of us knew better and said so. Truckloads sent into Syria with Russian help.

War On Terror: As the regime of Bashar Assad disintegrates, the security of his chemical arsenal is in jeopardy. The No. 2 general in Saddam Hussein’s air force says they were the WMDs we didn’t find in Iraq.

King Abdullah of neighboring Jordan warned that a disintegrating Syria on the verge of civil war puts Syria’s stockpile of chemical weapons at risk of falling into the hands of al-Qaida.

“One of the worst-case scenarios as we are obviously trying to look for a political solution would be if some of those chemical stockpiles were to fall into unfriendly hands,” he said.

The irony here is that the chemical weapons stockpile of Syrian thug Assad may in large part be the legacy of weapons moved from Hussein’s Iraq into Syria before Operation Iraqi Freedom.

  9. Yellowcake shipped to Canada for safe keeping….in 2008. Over 500 metric tons

The last major remnant of Saddam Hussein’s nuclear program — a huge stockpile of concentrated natural uranium — reached a Canadian port Saturday to complete a secret U.S. operation that included a two-week airlift from Baghdad and a ship voyage crossing two oceans.

The removal of 550 metric tons of “yellowcake” — the seed material for higher-grade nuclear enrichment — was a significant step toward closing the books on Saddam’s nuclear legacy. It also brought relief to U.S. and Iraqi authorities who had worried the cache would reach insurgents or smugglers crossing to Iran to aid its nuclear ambitions.

  10. Babs Boxer is a hypocrite…. Bush war bad, BO war good….at least Code Pink is consistent…Kerry couldn’t say ‘no boots on the ground’….stumbling and skirting the issue….

    • No boots on the ground…..riiiiiight!

Secretary of State John F. Kerry refused Tuesday to rule out putting U.S. troops on the ground in Syria, saying the president needs to retain the ability to send in forces in very select circumstances as the Obama administration officially began to make its case for retaliatory military strikes on the Assad regime.

    • Did I hear correctly that the film clips of the little bodies killed by Assad, the ones we are seeing over and over, are actually from Saddam’s use of chemical weapons in Iraq?

      • Yes, there was that rumor….how true it is ??????
