The LOL Party

D-words have ‘labeled’ the R-words the ‘party of no’ (by doing exactly what they were sent to DC to do) but, are quickly becoming the LOL party. D’s are running around having fits over a bridge closing in NJ. Yes, we all realize what an inconvenience it was for many people trying to get to work, school, etc;, but, think how “inconvenienced” Mexican families are feeling after the DOJ hasn’t brought one single person up on charges for gun trafficking to drug cartels while the murder spree continues apace. Not one person has been held accountable in the State Dept over the Benghazi deaths of four Americans who were serving their country proudly and who had asked for more security at the annex. Not one person at the head of the IRS has been brought up on charges for using their office for political gain by silencing conservative groups. Best of all, they want “transparency” from every single pol, but not from BO even though he promised to lead the “most transparent” government ever in history.

Contrast what Christie has done over “Bridgegate” to the steps Obama took when finding out about “Benghazigate”, Obamacare , Fast and Furious gun running by government employees, and the IRS scandal against conservative groups, as well as the NSA spying scandal. Not one person has been fired or taken to task for any of the myriad scandals involving the White House. BO’s people are above the law, Christie proved his are not.

Mostly the media is expounding about Christie’s weight. This is an attempt to destroy what the media and the left sees as a very viable presidential candidate that could beat Clinton in the 2016 campaign. Of course in all the discourse about candidates not one mention is made of the flubber Clinton carries around or her cankles. That would be misogynistic, even if true.

Friday news drop is a good one. CGI, along with MO’s long time friend from the college days, has been fired. BO must have gotten nervous when Christie fired some of his people for unethical behavior. That might have been lost in the furor over a ‘traffic jam’. Another issue which has been giving Preezy headaches is the rancor and defiance of his party. House Dems Defy Obama Veto Threat, Support ObamaCare Privacy Protection . Why would Preezy not want to reassure Americans their info will be safe? According to the posers in Big White, it would place “undue hardship” on the federal government.

On Friday, the House passed legislation requiring the Obama Administration to notify Americans if their personal data on the ObamaCare exchanges was breached or compromised. The measure passed by an overwhelming 291-122 votes, with 67 House Dems supporting the measure in defiance of a veto threat from the White House. The vote is enough to override a veto.

Reid backs down in unemployment fight

Here’s an idea, why not pay for the unemployment extension by stopping the abuse of the Earned Income Credit by non-citizens? Having to provide a SS# to get the child tax credit would save the billions needed to cover UI and the cuts to our veterans.  Kelly Ayotte came up with a fix that made sense but Reid and Boxer railed against that proposal. Boxer”s position is “children will starve to death” if those non-citizens don’t get special treatment and largesse from the taxpayers. I’m more inclined to think our vets and unemployed deserve better treatment at the hands of our governing body than illegals (non-citizens). Maybe Sebelius could do something about the 65 billion in waste and fraud at HHS. Maybe all of those who hold office should do the job they were sent to DC to do and stop playing politics with our lives and livelihoods. Is it any wonder the American public looks at our “political betters” with so much disdain and contempt?

About those PROMISE ZONES….”Thursday morning, President Obama announced the creation of five “Promise Zones,” in which the federal government “will partner in helping local leaders develop policies that improve education, protect the most vulnerable, and encourage the entrepreneurial spirit.” ”

  1. License to kill…yes, BO had a part in all of it….he “personally met with IRS chief counsel William Wilkins — an Obama political appointee and long-time supporter — in the Roosevelt Room of the White House on April 23, 2012, two days before the IRS issued its key internal directives to target Tea Party and other conservative groups”. [snip]

The IRS wants to create a new bureaucratic definition that re-labels those common voter information activities by re-naming them “candidate-related political activity.” For short, IRS calls it CRPA, but CRAP would fit better.

This is actually a gag rule. But the IRS’s new speech restrictions do not apply to labor unions, trade associations, political parties, or other non-profit groups such as 501(c)(3)’s. The impact is limited to the 501(c)(4)’s, which are the favorite vehicle for Tea Party groups.

  2. Two Senate Democrats have demanded an investigation into the safety of oil transport in the United States after two derailments in the past two weeks.

Energy and Natural Resources Committee Chairman Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) and Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee Chairman Jay Rockefeller (D-W.Va.) made the request to Transportation Secretary Anthony Foxx and Energy Secretary Ernest Moniz after a July derailment in Quebec that killed 47, a November derailment of an oil shipment in Alabama that caused explosions, last week’s North Dakota derailment that required 1,500 people near the fire be evacuated, and another Canadian derailment and fire this week near the Maine border.

Shut down Buffet’s trains and build the damned pipelines!

  3. Proof positive the Dims have become the LOL Party….extremist speech tells us how afraid they really are of 2014 and 2016….

  4. About those “jobs numbers”….Booooosh!

The U.S. economy added only 74,000 jobs last month, a circumstance clearly attributable to George W. Bush, because President Obama’s policies do not cause such things.

“It’s obvious that the long, dark shadow of George Bush continues to haunt the economy,” said White House National Economic Council Director Gene Sperling. “What’s more, even after leaving office, Bush continues to plague the economy through sorcery.”

Other smart people in Washington attributed the surprisingly awful December jobs numbers to Republicans in Congress, Republicans in Congress, tie ups on the George Washington Bridge, and the Boston Red Sox.

  5. Watch out seniors, BO is coming for you….again. Dems in panic mode just thinking about it

  6. Fundamental problem with Obamacare….
“The problem with Obamacare is it’s product driven and not market driven. They didn’t ask the customer what they wanted. And I think that’s the fundamental problem with Obamacare. It meets the needs of very poor people because you’re giving them health insurance for free. But it doesn’t really meet the needs of healthy people and middle-class people.”

  7. Looking forward to this decision….
“Nothing less than the boundaries of executive power are at stake Monday as the Supreme Court considers whether President Obama violated the Constitution during his first term.

Oral arguments slated for Monday will center on a trio of recess appointments to the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) that were deemed unconstitutional by lower courts.”
