Causing havoc, now being served ultimatums. What is waiting for him in Riyadh is pretty ugly. From the Debkafile

Arab leaders whose summit begins in Kuwait Tuesday, March 25, are set to carry hard-line ultimatums for the US-sponsored Palestinian-Israeli negotiations as a means of derailing US Secretary of State John Kerry’s stubborn effort for a peace accord, and as a red flag for President Barack Obama three days before he lands in Riyadh.. [snip]

The radical stance the Arab rulers have adopted on Mid East peacemaking is designed to warn the US president to expect a hard time in his talks with Saudi leaders in Riyadh. A large group of Arab nations – Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the UAE, Bahrain and Kuwait – is telling him through the vehicle of a hard line on Mid East peacemaking that they can be just as unyielding on other issues, starting with their vendetta against the Brotherhood.

That vendetta tops their agenda, although it is worded as a draft resolution calling for “a collective Arab position in the war on terror.” It was rated as important enough for the conference to choose Egypt’s interim president Adly Mansour to address the opening session of the conference with a speech devoted to the subject of “terrorism.”

And indeed, Sunday, March 23, just ahead of the Arab League summit, an Egyptian court sentenced 529 Muslim Brotherhood adherents to death for attacking government centers and killing soldiers and police officers.

BO’s backing of the Muslim Brotherhood was one of the dumbest pieces of foreign policy to date. He really has pushed the wrong buttons and this is the result. Kerry is as welcome as typhoid in the ME, BO too.

Another key item on the summit agenda revolves around the same issue. It is the campaign the same group of Arab leaders is waging against Qatar over its support for the Brotherhood. The Saudi, Egyptian, UAE, Bahraini and Kuwaiti governments have recalled their ambassadors from Doha; and Riyadh has threatened Qatar with a military, land and air blockade unless it withdraws this support and shuts down the Al Jazeera TV broadcasting station.

Remember NASA? Now on a mission to do that “Muslim outreach” thing. Well, little birdies, we have just signed a contract to pay Russia $71 million for a one-way ride to the space station. This fantasmagorical contract is for three years. Remember how proud all of us were of the National Aeronautic and Space Administration? Now think about how embarrassing it is to have to hitch a ride from Russia….another massive Obama failure. Oh, and we, the taxpayers are spending millions to rehab mosques all over the world. What a grand design BO has given us, helping out the very people who hate us and want us dead. Talk about cognitive dissonance..that is Obama in a nutshell.  When there is a discrepancy between beliefs and behaviors, something must change in order to eliminate or reduce the dissonance.

  1. To be honest, I’m appreciating the Russian sense of humor; shopkeepers are putting sanctions on their stores- Obama is no longer allowed to buy goods from them.

On the fashion front: I’ve just sent for the 2010/11 Marfy catalog pattern book; it features a lot of the asymmetrical designs that were prevalent in the 80’s.
Maybe I should be more fashion forward, like Moochabelle, and wear my jacket darts inside out, but I’m too cagey, fashion-wise.
Perhaps with a lot a gathers and folds at the back, I can make my skinny butt look huge, as is evidently, the trend right now.

    • LOL…. I thought the fashion world was trending toward shock value and nudity….

      • I’m a Cover-it-Up Buckeye; layers for the everchanging weather.

        • Yes indeed, this AM at fifty… 3 PM we’ll be at 30 …we bounce all over the place…lol

  2. The month of March has been rife with Democrats on the crime blotter.
