Stop Insulting Us
No better person to head a special investigative committee on Benghazi…he challenges the press to actually do their job. If we can see through the lies and distortions, presumably the media should be able to do the same.
“I have evidence that, not only are they hiding it, there is an intent to hide it,” Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) told Greta van Susteren on FOX News. “I can’t disclose that evidence yet, but I have evidence that there was a systematic, intentional decision to withhold certain documents from Congress. And we’re just sick of it. So we’re gonna have him come explain why we’re getting documents 20 months late.”
“If you want to have Greg Hicks and the station chief from Tripoli and Hillary Clinton all sitting at the same table, you need to have a committee that has the power to do that. And a select committee would have that power,” Gowdy said on Friday.
The one thing that is really unforgivable in all this “talking points” hullabaloo, neither the State Dept. nor the CIC tried to help them. They did nothing, that is the most unforgivable act of cowardice. The ultimate “blame” goes to BO and Clinton. Shrillary wants to know “what difference, at this point in time, does it make?”. The “difference” is she and BO could have made a difference for our people on the ground and did nothing, not in the months before the attack, not on the night of the attack and even now 2 years later. Not one person has been held accountable, not even the perpetrators of the attack. The Syrian government is still gassing their people, the Muslim jihadists are crucifying Christians. The Libyans are running amok, have a very weak unstable government and the Muslim jihadists have taken control of that country. Egypt has devolved and is chaotic while the Muslim Brotherhood does its best to foment more violence and upheaval. CYA doesn’t make it when we’re talking about the mess that has become the ME due to BO’s foreign policy disasters.
Died. At the highest levels, in fact: an American Ambassador was murdered on her watch, and the White House obfuscated the almost-literal Hell out of it until after the 2012 elections. Hillary Clinton should have resigned as an apology. Instead, she infamously asked what difference it made, and that has set the tone on this issue ever since.
And the Democratic leadership doesn’t want to hear this, partially because it makes the Obama administration look horrifically evil, and partially because if it isn’t Hillary Clinton it’s going to be Joe Biden in 2016, and partially because people don’t like to think of themselves as villains. So they’re screaming; problem is, there’s a limit to how often you can scream and mock and dismiss something as being irrelevant before people start thinking that you’re protesting too much, particularly if the press isn’t playing along. And enough of them are not this time to make the strategy a little too obvious.
While watching BO’s presser with Angela Merkel it was more than a little obvious how unhappy she still is with BO. Every single time he said “Angela” she glared at him with pursed mouth. BO has such little regard he didn’t use her title at a formal presser. He may be “cool” but he definitely has very little class or finesse much like his incompetent, smug, delusional underlings who seem to forget that not everything is about “optics” or “politics”.
Scandal at the VA? Bernie Sanders says not to rush to judgment. Yeah, hold out long enough for the mid-term elections to end.
“As the American Legion knows, it is important to note that firing Shinseki will not solve VA’s systemic problems. What the VA really needs is oversight and accountability. The next VA secretary must be given the tools to enforce accountability—which is why CVA, along with the American Legion, supports the VA Management Accountability Act of 2014 (HR4031/S2013),” said CVA CEO Pete Hegseth in a statement.
“Firing Shinseki, without passing this critical—and bipartisan—legislation, will be a hollow victory for veterans. Accountability needs to start at the top, but must also be infused in all aspects of VA. We need to replace Shinseki with a VA secretary who is fully empowered to change the culture at VA and implement long-overdue reforms.”
How the hell can Democrats defend the tactics used by the IRS to target Americans who disagree with them politically? When will the DOJ stop defending Fast and Furious? Why aren’t those pols in Congress who pushed the IRS to “target” groups being investigated by the ethics committees in both houses? Why do Democrats continually defend illegal conduct by BO? Will they keep defending that conduct when they lose power to an opposition candidate?
In other news…we love the WONs…..MO’s bro’ Craig was fired as head coach at Oregon U.
MO gets to cut the ribbon at the opening of a museum. She was obligated due to the $500,000 Wintour bundled for BO and his campaign. See how that works?
