“It’s not us, it’s you”.. from the South Dakota Young Republicans via Legal Insurrection “Can we help this video go viral? Yes. We. Can.”
R-words are slack jawed over the Cantor hit. D-words are laughing but, their turn is coming. These people are so wrapped up in the DC bubble they have no idea how much ordinary Americans despise them. They soon will. Sometimes voters have to raise a little hell to be heard through the cacophony of lobbyists, special interests and cronies that have the Congressional and Presidential ears. Rebuking those who abuse us at the ballot box is the way we handle our frustration.
Speaking of abuse, looks as if the State Dept., under Clinton, is guilty of conspiracy (some of them would be charged if they didn’t work for the Fed).
The terrorists who attacked the U.S. consulate and CIA annex in Benghazi on September 11, 2012 used cell phones, seized from State Department personnel during the attacks, and U.S. spy agencies overheard them contacting more senior terrorist leaders to report on the success of the operation, multiple sources confirmed to Fox News.
Yes, you read that correctly….under attack for close to eight hours and, they knew the whole time. The lies are disintegrating one by one and the real horror is the White House knew, Clinton knew and they did nothing to even try to save our people. Those two have no honor, none whatsoever. A private jet had to be commandeered to get our guys plus the wounded out. Why? Well, the c-130 that was requested to be on standby at a nearby airport was denied them. Every single security request was denied them. Read it all at the link…Brett Baier interview
1300 years later….still at war. Nothing any country, a group of countries (NATO), or the UN can do to stop the Sunni-Shiite religious/political war for supremacy and domination. This whole “nation building” meme has not worked, does not work and, never will work. The latest ‘Mideast foreign policy’ seems to be to let as many Muslims kill off each other as quickly as possible.
The Peshmerga will hold off ISIS in the north, at least for a while. The BBC notes that ISIS has bypassed the Kurdish areas for fear of the well-seasoned Peshmerga, who aren’t going to run in the face of an inferior force of Sunni terrorists. The ISIS move toward the Shi’ite cities might end up backfiring, though, as it will encourage Iran to come to Maliki’s rescue and turn all of Iraq into a battlefield. In that scenario, the US will lose all influence and power in Iraq, and perhaps throughout the entire region as the other states start cutting deals with Tehran or lining up against it in the ground war.
The Kurds should have been put in charge of the government in Iraq….they are the ones who would have governed with less corruption and infighting. Minority groups governing is the balance being unraveled in the ME from Libya to Syria by Western governments who do not bother with history or lessons of the past. This is why the Morsi government in Egypt failed so miserably and the government of Al Sisi just might succeed, whether “we” back them or not. Neither party in our government seems to get it. While they busily dither away with their political infighting, China and Russia are busy making strategic moves.
There is no doubt that a comprehensive strategic partnership, in which Russia and China would act in concert along the political consensus reached by their two leaders, would in the short term — in one way or another — reflect on their Middle East policy, and have an impact on intraregional dynamics. It is still difficult to say, however, what the real effects and consequences of this process would be.
They know Obama is weak and they are using it to their advantage. Lots of links at Drudge on the current ME mess.
Words to remember; Obama in May 2011
“We have gone above and beyond what was requested by the very Republicans who said they supported broader reform as long as we got serious about enforcement. All the stuff they asked for, we’ve done. But even though we’ve answered these concerns, I suspect there will be some who will try to move the goal posts one more time (someone in the crowd yells “racists!”) They said we need to triple the border patrol. Or now they’ll say we need to quadruple the border patrol. Or they’ll want a higher fence. Maybe they’ll need a moat. Maybe they want alligators in the moat! They’ll never be satisfied.
Yep, guarded so well that thousands of children can get across with zero problem accompanied by child traffickers. How long before mass graves are found full of kids? Coyotes are not above doing that if they can’t move them for fear of being caught or are just in it for the money which is paid up front. Is this the “cheap labor” the amnesty backers want?
