October Surprise

What a surprise! Color me stunned knowing Ms. Vinson was so ignorant , as well as the CDC, to take a flight out of Cleveland Hopkins to Dallas. What the hell were they thinking? BO ebola  Paging Dr. Obama.

Later on Wednesday, after cancelling a congressional campaign trip to Connecticut, President Obama said that the U.S. would become more aggressive in coordinating the national response to Ebola, including sending a CDC team to any hospital with a confirmed Ebola case.

But, by stopping short of issuing mandatory protocols, the President again fell back on the catch-as-catch-can system that produced such disastrous results in Dallas. He did so at the peril of health-care providers and the public — because trust that individual hospitals here, there and everywhere would perform superbly is decidedly misplaced. [snip]

Neither Obama nor Frieden had the sense to issue directives with the firm, clear quality of standards sought by National Nurses United, representing thousands of nurses across the country.

BO is a walking-talking unmitigated disaster as President. Americans, by a overwhelming majority, want flight restrictions from ebola stricken countries. Obama’s spectacular incompetence turns deadly

A new poll from the Washington Post and ABC News shows 67 percent of people say they would support restricting entry to the United States from countries struggling with Ebola. Another 91 percent would like to see stricter screening procedures at U.S. airports in response to the disease’s spread.

Obama got his Katrina moment and failed miserably. The outbreak prevention was dismissed by Obama. And, protocols by the Bush administration were so offensive to BO he couldn’t leave them in place. Those protocols would have stopped Duncan from entering the US by lying. Obama is to blame for all of this mess and chaos. He is definitely a product of the Peter Principle, risen to the heights of his incompetence level.

The Centers for Disease Control told the incoming Obama administration in 2008 that it should establish 18 regional disease detection centers around the world to adequately safeguard the U.S. from emerging health threats like Ebola, according to an agency memo.

So, what has BO done to assure us we aren’t in any danger?  PHTO-OPS! Yes, he shows us how hard he’s working and how much he cares by taking pics of him sitting around pretending to work. Why not take pics of him in his limo heading to the golf course being interrupted by Burwell. After all, that is the real  BO.

  1. Akron Schools are closed in OH due to “contact” with one school’s employee on the same plane Vinson took to OH. Out of an abundance of caution.

  2. Voters haven’t changed their minds….no matter how much they “cooked the books” and lied to the public….

Top public health officials have collected $25 million in bonuses since 2007, carving out extra pay for themselves in tight federal budgetary times while blaming a lack of money for the Obama administration’s lackluster response to the Ebola outbreak.

U.S. taxpayers gave $6 billion in salaries and $25 million in bonuses to an elite corps of health care specialists at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention since 2007, according to data compiled by American Transparency’s, an online portal aggregating 1.3 billion lines of federal, state and local spending. The agency’s head count increased by 23 percent during that time, adding manpower and contributing to higher payrolls despite relatively flat funding.

  4. Remember when Dems said the “majority” wants amnesty and the import of more foreign workers? NAH….

Another question measured support for the idea that “The first goal of immigration policy needs to be getting unemployed Americans back to work – not importing more low-wage workers to replace them.”

Like the other question, the response was enthusiastic.

    Likely voters: 70-18 in favor. Men: 67-20. Women: 73-17. Liberals: 54-29. Independents: 70-15. Whites: 72-16. Hispanics: 59-32.

Of every subgroup listed on the cross tabs, the lowest support came from Democratic Men, who said the sentiment would make them more likely to vote for a Republican senate candidate by a 52-31 margin.

The sample size of the poll, conducted at the end of September, was 1,605, giving the cross tabs more statistical heft than they would have under a smaller size.

  5. “Most of the magical powers once attributed to President Obama have proven illusory. Doing more than any other one person to revive the Republican Party, though, is a genuinely impressive feat.”

  6. ONE job…protect Americans…

The President rarely uses the law correctly, and even more rarely in aid of the protection of Americans. It is time to ban travel from these hot zones until this President and his CDC can demonstrate that they can competently, and with the confidence of our people, address this virus. That protection does not prevent us from helping in the countries that need it most. That too is in our interest. In order to help, however, we must secure our own interests and safety first. It’s this President’s primary responsibility, and one for which his pen is authorized.

  7. Everything is not about race…no matter the accusations….no one can ‘force’ the mentally ill to take their meds…liberals have always contended it’s against their ‘rights’.

” It is a tragic that Misty slipped and fell to her death trying avoid the police, it’s tragic that she did not get the proper medication to treat her mental illness from her mental health care givers at Valley Cities Mental Health, it is tragic that the Auburn PD refused to help offer to find or at least change her Missing status to “Endangered” to allow other agencies to get involved.”
