“You break it, you own it”

Yes, indeed, that is exactly the way it works. So, giving credit where credit is due, Hillary Clinton “owns” Libya. She owns the mess she created by the ouster of Gadhafi. She owns the lies told to the families of the Ambassador and the other Americans killed by terrorists in Benghazi.
Maureen Dowd October 27 2015:

Since she was, as her aide Jake Sullivan put it, “the public face of the U.S. effort in Libya,” one of the Furies, along with Samantha Power and Susan Rice, who had pushed for a military intervention on humanitarian grounds, Hillary needed to stay on top of it.

She had to be tenacious in figuring out when Libya had deteriorated into such a cauldron of jihadis that our ambassador should either be pulled out or backed up. In June 2012, the British closed their consulate in Benghazi after their ambassador’s convoy was hit by a grenade. A memo she received that August described the security situation in Libya as “a mess.”

When you are the Valkyrie who engineers the intervention, you can’t then say it is beneath you to pay attention to the ludicrously negligent security for your handpicked choice for ambassador in a lawless country full of assassinations and jihadist training camps.

According to Republicans on the committee, there were 600 requests from J. Christopher Stevens’ team to upgrade security in Benghazi in 2012 and 20 attacks on the mission compound in the months before the Sept. 11 siege.

Clinton was the Secretary of Chaos and Lies. She will never be anything else. There are some things that are just unforgivable. She will never get my vote, not ever.

When do “principled conservatives” think people attending a political rally deserve a beatdown? Why, when they editorialize for Red State. From Breitbart

Embittered “#NeverTrump” consultants and bloggers are ragging on American voters who support presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump, telling them they “deserve to be beaten,” as Americans are chased down and assaulted for merely attending a U.S. political rally.

If that is what “principled conservatives” think, they are no different than the left, just as creepy and ugly. Little dictator wannabes who were shown to be irrelevant by the voters. Bitter because they didn’t own the final say on whom they felt should have gotten the R-words votes. Get a clue!

UPDATE: Clarice Feldman writes a stinging rebuke to the “principled” commentariat on the right. She hits it out of the park.
