Why is Obama blaming us?
It isn’t the American people who are too intolerant for words, it is Islam as practiced by jihadists. It is the Imam preaching in the mosques who spouts it is compassionate to murder LGBT people. It is the hard core Muslims who hate everything we stand for that feel it is their duty to murder all those who neither agree with their ideology or live by their standards that are to blame. Obama refuses to acknowledge fundamentalist Islam is a huge problem for the West. He has told us, in the not too distant past, we can sustain another 911. Tell that to the parents and loved ones of the 103 dead and injured in the latest attack on American soil. I’m sure they will be happy to note that their loved ones were just collateral damage we can sustain.
John Podhoretz of the NYPOST:
Here again, and horribly, we have an unmistakable indication that Obama finds it astonishingly easy to divorce himself from a reality he doesn’t like — the reality of the Islamist terror war against the United States and how it is moving to our shores in the form of lone-wolf attacks.
The first thing everyone seems to concern themselves with is some sort of backlash to those who practice Islam. Tell me, how many mosques have been blown up and/or Muslims who have been gunned down due to “Islamophobia”?
So determined is the president to avoid the subject of Islamist, ISIS-inspired or ISIS-directed terrorism that he concluded his remarks with an astonishing insistence that “we need the strength and courage to change” our attitudes toward the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community.
Facts don’t seem to matter to Obama. He can’t seem to figure out the “motivation” behind the attack even when it’s obvious to almost everyone else. Being intentionally dishonest about this latest attack doesn’t change the facts.
